There are just a few of these fantastic rock bands: I just know The Killers & Europe in this case. No scandals, everytime a great show, good lyrics and great sound.

"The Final Countdown" is the first thing I remember in my life, btw :) I'm born in 1988.

John Norum plays guitar in this video.

He is one of the founding members of Europe and a very underrated songwriter.

He is responsable for a lot of their hits.

Kee Marcello is the guitarist that replaced John, many people think it was Kee Marcello who played guitar on this record (and in this video) because in the official video clip you see the guitarist play a yellow guitar with 2 humbuckers (like Marcello), John norum always played Strats and Les Paul guitars.

No it was definitely John Norum on The Final Countdown on both the Song & Album. He left later after in 1986 because he didn't like The Pop Direction the Band was going. Kee Marcello was Norum's Replacement and since then John Norum has Returned

i may agree with you on your point if i was not a musician my self..i been producing music since age 10 all different styles and know many guitarists that are good..but there is just something about this fucking malmsteen that blows my mind..for me he is the ultimate composer and guitarist ever to walk the earth and there will never be a new malmsteen...because face it all others are just lame copycats..man has endless talent..even if he sounds the same--but that´s his style..
