yes he die . he went to the hospital complaining of some pain. he got admited and operated.. he was doing well, but the next day he died! all his life Andy was always terrified about hospitals, and the nurse that admited him was surprised that he was the only patiente that knew his blue cross number (insurance)( that must be like 12 digits remenber this is from a person that is terrified about doctors and hospitals

good song ijust read a book about warhols life. he is lucky to live as long as he did. back in 1969 a drug adiict mental reatrd who was one of his groopies. Well she shot Andy with a 32 at point blank range of 3 feet.she then went outside the factory and drop the gun in frount of aNY traffic cop and said."I just shot andy warhol". she got off lite 3 monthe in a nut house, but Ansy stayed very paranoid for the rest of his life. The Dr gave him Qualudes.

Book Edie Factory Girl p. 114: Warhol screenwriter Bob Heide quoted - Warhol wanted to go with him to home of an assistant , site where dancer Freddy Herko had jumped to his death. Heide: Andy had famously said, Gee, why didnt he tell us? We couldve filmed it. Heide also says that he and Warhol stood where Herkos blood was being cleaned up and said, I wonder when Edie will commit suicide. I hope she lets us know so we can film it.
