@ricanramirezHD I would search on ebay for *low density* memory for this laptop. It uses PC133 SODIMM and the maximum you can install is 1GB. That configuration only works if you use 2 x 512MB chips. I see a few vendors there offering that amount of memory for around $40 and that is the most the laptop can handle.

Hi - thanks for posting this video. Very helpful. What can I do though if both memory slots are filled? I think there are (2) 256 MB memory cards in it. Can I replace one with a 512 MB?

@bubbasbuddy1 Yes you can put a 512 and 256 in it, I ran mine that way for quite some time. However it should be pretty cheap to just upgrade both to 512mb and max out the system. Thanks!

hi a2z2home! yes you can keep the new memory in your laptop and reset your bios settings to factory defaults. the new memory module will not affect that.
