you have to go to mom and pop aquarium shops that carry hard to find or speciality cichlids. most large store chains like petco or pet club don't carry them. or you can order them online (a bit pricey though).

True Festaes can be hard to find, Very few people tend to breed them due to their aggressivness. However when they do spawn they spawn up to 1000 eggs so the market can be quite empty then all of a sudden there will be a bunch of em. I try and keep an eye on websites like aquabid.com and keeping my local pet store informed of my interest when looking for them.

Hikari Cichlid Bio-Gold and use Tetra Cichlid Vital in the water. Shes really colorful like that bcuz shes mating too. Beautiful fish, its hard to find really nice red terrors

Thanks for the advice. I was gonna grab me a red terror to go with my jack dempseys, oscar, and green terror. But I wouldn't to risk it. I heard RT's can be very mean. Especially the males. So I dunno. I guess i'll stick with what i got for now.
