  • awesome i think JK it is awesome cuz its got both 3D and L4D :D

  • Pretty nicely done anaglyph 3D depth there. Not as amazing as the "Dead Space" video, but still enjoyable. No eye strain or ghosting, which is excellent.

  • wear RED/GREEN glasses. The 3D effect is so much more intense. If you don't have RED/GREEN. Wear RED/TEAL and GREEN/MAGENTA upside down over top of them.

It will give you RED/GREEN. Trust me, the 3D effect is so much better with RED/GREEN.

  • ok

    thx

  • Wait...are you saying that RED/GREEN is superior to the other colored glasses? Like the RED/BLUE, BLUE/YELLOW, etc...Why would the RED/GREEN color config be better?

  • Red Green is combination of the red/teal and the green/magenta; the two most common types of 3D glasses. If you wear red/teal properly and green magenta upside down over top of the red/teal, u get red green. If you look at frame 1:34 you can see his hand is red and the gun is green. I'm not saying red/green is superior to another color scheme of 3d glasses. It all depends on the movie. All im saying is i found the red/green more effective.

  • After reviewing the video again and switching glasses, I still think the red/green was most effective. It didn't make everything 3D; None of the glasses did, but the little things were 3D and most impressive, like the blood splatter, the rain, flying bullets, and the smokers tongue at the end was pretty awesome.

  • Oh ok, I am going to have to get some cheap glasses and get this going, thanks for the input. Beats paying tons of money for the Nvidia setup, what a rip!

  • The Nvidia 3D vision is worth the money as long as you have a monitor that's 120hz and a computer with at least 2GB ram and a powerful enough graphics card and processor. You need a monitor with 120hz cause the Nvidia 3D vision cuts the frame rate almost in half. My computer is more than adequate enough. I have a 8GB RAM, 1TB HD, Core 2 Quad, Nvidia GeForce GT 230, and a 27'' 120hz monitor. I just don't feel like blowing 200 on a 3D upgrade. I don't play computer games enough to anyway.

  • Ya, I know man. I went and tested out the Nvidia setup out at a local retailer, PC Laptops has a "test drive station" for the Nvidia 3D. They had it running on an the top notch i7, GT 285 (or it could have been the 293?), lot's of high speed ram, etc...they had a 3 monitor setup just to show that it can do up to 3 monitors I guess?

  • The only 120 HZ one was the middle of the 3 monitors. Nvidia 285/295, not 293, my bad. They couldn't get the demo w/ Bioshock, L4D, COD, etc..to work, so I just looked at the Nvidia logo and some lettering bounce out at me, which was convincing enough! I don't have a powerful enough PC to run that stuff...I wish I did, I found some blue/red glasses in my house so I am going to see if those will work on this anaglyph setup:)

  • wow what are your specs

can I do it on my old 8600m gt or in my 8600 gt
