Excellent result for a beginner. Don't forget to switch to the genitive case following negatives. For example: u menya nyet obchodimosti ... not un menya obchodimost
Also words following "mnogo" are genitive plural. Thus "many words" is "mnogo slov"
Good job Steve. I'm pretty sure your russian is way better since you posted this video. Chineese people, who live in Russia for five years, speak worth than you!
Thank you for this video! :) I'm learning russian right now and so watching these videos and seeing if I can understand any of it is a good gauge for how much I'm learning.
I have been at Russian for about two and a half years, so that video must have been after one and a half years. I cannot really remember. I enjoy it. Time flies.
Eta xorosho I've only started learning. How long did it take you to progress this far in Russian? I want to speak fluently. People always think I am russian based on looks I have no clue why...hehe
I'm gonna start my studies in chinese this year and would loooove to learn more languages, such as russian and...well, much more :D I canspeak some french, but when I learn speaking a language I am neeever satisfied. And I'm not pleased with my English either.. ^^"
Your pronounciation is very very good! Sometimes it feels like you have no accent at all: "russkaya devochka"(russian girl), "dvadtsat procentov"(20%), "ya ne znal"(i didn't know) sounds absolutely clean!!!
I've noticed only several mistakes in your pronounciation: when you said "potomu shto"(because) it sounds like "Sto", but it must sound exactly like "SHto".
And "nachinat"(to start) - you said "naSinat", should be "naCHinat".
It's nice that you love and read russian literature!
Я не очень хорошо пока. lol see that was probably terrible! your good tho.

very nice i should say
u made some grammar mistakes, but just coz of russian is too difficult and foreigners usually have some :)
good pronounsation, everything is clear, but accent is felt a lil bit.. though it doesnt bring any troubles for understanding
and if u would talk this way to any russian, he's gonna understand everything, so nicely done i'd say)

Amazingly understandable! +5. That part about Russian devochki was clearly paedophilic, though.

Sounding good so far. I don't think you answered the question, how long had you been studying Russian at this point?
