His whole life is a response to some unknown person leaving food on his family's porch when they had nothing for Thanksgiving dinner--and that is a wonderful thing. He doesn't know who did it, so he's trying to pay something back to that spirit of generosity any way he can, even walking barefoot on hot coals. ;])

more people should listen to this guy. A positive mental attitude definately worked for me - I'm a school failure and have ended up working for myself, having fun and earning decent money at the same time.
