Hello Amo del Maní: thanks you for your words, the brass/copper parts were madeby me using a lathe, a mold and through the technique called repusaje, search on youtube
The fast spins of the device is just because it is well balanced
I'm thinking about building one of these. I'm just wondering though, does it make any annoying noises or anything? And if it does, do you know how I could make one not have annoying noises?
@peanutmaster1231 The device produces almost no noise, only the faint hiss that produces steam when escapes through small holes at the end of the propeller.
the noises you hear in the video are from the traffic that passes by my house.
Hello, Mrugman thanks for your words, I have developed the device myself, I have no plans but I have all the molds to handcraft the Eolipile, It is all for sale,
if you have skills with tin solder and know how to use a lathe, it is possible to produce small series in the traditional way panchalino@yahoo.com
@1989kirby Well, somebody actually did... "The Forgotten Revolution: How Science Was Born in 300 BC and Why it Had to Be Reborn". Available on Amazon and torrent ;)
@squeehunter LOL, spare me the preaching... I did mention that it's available on Amazon and I even gave the book a free ad through my post. The mere fact that a simple Google search also gives a ton of links to torrent sites is not my responsibility. The smiley at the end should have given you a clue that the mention of generic unnamed torrent sites was more tongue-in-cheek than an instruction for piracy...
This is the first jet engine. Glory to Heron! make it 10 times bigger and you get a powerplant. The Pharos was powered with light, a very long time before Heron. The problem with humanity is that it plunges into Dark Ages. And we are heading straight for one!
lamento que mi aburrido video te quitase tiempo para seguir jugando con la playstation, lo curioso es que si lo has usado para escribir tu pobre comentario.

Lol cool. I'd buy it, except my parents wouldn't let me, I'm only 11 and I have no money.... :\ Anyways, Heron or Hero was a smart man, he was way ahead of his time.

Where did you get the brass/copper ball? and how did you make it so it spins efficiently? Great engine!

¡Brillante!
