  • its way easier to do pullups when you can use your forearms for leverage like that.

  • whoever says it's easier with forearms braced to the structure is misinformed and inexperienced. doing them that way emphasizes arm muscle use and less weight (than normal) is transferred to the lats / back muscles. it's not "harder," but it's certainly not "easier."

  • if you want to be able to do higher max sets you should train one month of doing sets of 5 reps until you cant get past 3. then one month just do one max set once a day, it should boost you up to 20 in no time

  • While I do agree that a flatter surface makes it a bit easier, it is still impressive to see someone do 20 pull-ups regardless. Pull-ups are one of the most underrated exercises out there IMO.

    However, I am curious as to why he felt the need to do them shirtless at an elementary school surrounded by kids. Seemed kind of weird to me. Plus, he looked like a bottle of milk..LOL My advice, work on getting some sun, and keep your shirt on next time..LOL
