The book is full of emotions and I really couldn't get rid of all the pictures I got in my head after I read it. And this is just everything I saw and thought while reading it, like all the emotions made visible. Honestly, this video is amazing. There aren't real actions in it but nevertheless it's just perfect because it transmits the right feeling.

Oh my god this is amazing., just wow! I love the book and Gilliam Jacobs for Alaska works so well, and i kinda love JGL as well <3

And for people who are wondering, Brick is used for JGL's parts at the beginning and then Mysterious Skin nearer the end. And Gillian Jacobs part was from the film Gardens Of The Night. I think those were the only movies that were used :/

I literally just finished the book, and watching your video for it was the first thing I wanted to do. I love how you began it. With all the numbers and the word "before". That was really clever. I loved the moments in the video just before "after" began. The little love scene and the car. Really well put together.

I think making a video for a book that isn't already a movie is one of the hardest things ever to do. But you pulled it off with ease and grace. Just as I assumed you would.

That was so so awesome, you had really good character choices (he was actually the perfect Pudge) and the I loved the colouring. Everything was pretty much perfect, you captured Pudge/Alaska so well. I liked the scenes you used with them smoking, it was kinda..arty?
