The only thing I don't understand is what do we do with the +y in g(x)? It has no affect on the final answer, we just put it there for our own sake and to pretend the two are equal. I guess it makes sure that the only left over term is a function of y, but is that the only purpose it serves?
I know the vid only has 27 views now but thats not because this vid is bad......its just that folks dont like Differential Equations!! These 8mins were more useful than spending an hour in my useless lecturer's class!! Dont get discouraged by the views, some people are benefiting tremendously from this. Keep up the good work!
