  • JRP did what he was supposed to do. It was a tight back-and-forth part of the track, not an area where you can drift wide and respond to a blue flag (if he got one.)

AMA pro riders need to deal with the backmarkers, if they can't then tough nuts.

The AMA guy that bitched out JRP should have been fired and never allowed within 1000 meters of an AMA race again.

  • rider isn't doing anything wrong here ..i know only a bit from car-racing-rules , but infact it's almost the same (f1 fe.) ..people need to holfd there lines, certainly when going into the cornering-parts .

When doing 'unexpected' moves the rider (or driver) can get surprised by the action and can turn out ugly . Just keep on racing and the others behind will know exactly when and how to pass if they can..that's racing . no errors on the rider's part here...

  • @TheAMGLover well it isnt the same in bike racing, blue flag means get out the way. club racing and track days what you say would apply, but the blue flag means faster riders behind, dont interfere

  • First JRP held his line as the rule book says. Second he got out of the way for Hayes so did he know there were two bikes there? Doubt it! Ludington is a stupid ass and should have been fired. AMA is a failure and won't be around by 2012 anyway.

  • What don't you people on here understand about being lapped? He's lapped traffic. He's always lapped traffic. He was in the way.

  • Like him or not, rules are rules... Rock Page was clearly holding his line... continuing to RACE. Tough shit Yates... you too Hayes... or (whoever lost.) AMA racing isn't a charity event... punk.

    Ride faster next time.

  • i dont know jack about racing, all i can go by is the comments, and it seems to me LRP, not knowing rep at all, infact, this is a random vid i found, but that he was in a bad spot, and obeyed a rule, and its the fault of the passer. It was a risk that he took. I figure if your trying to pass someone, the key is maybe to block it off the pass? not dangerously, and at those speeds i can understand rules of conduct. Someone enlighten me, whats really the big deal behind it?

  • THis is about the JRP ego trip on how he races at the top. He doesn't realise that he causes accidents because he doesn't know how to go fast lap after lap. Al Luddington is F**** right on about wanting him banned. The JRP fame trip is about him causing accident and injury not about him being a good racer. If JRP obeyed the blue flag the leaders would have passed him in one corner but he raced them back like the F**** amateur he is.

  • @luckyskua No kidding?? Let me tell you chief, I have dealt with Al Luddington when he was Duhamel's mechanic and he was a douche bag then bitching about anyone else on the track but Duhamel, the guy is a tool.

  • @MerlinxPV Al Ludington knows first and foremost AMA events are a commercial venture, a podium contender put in an ambulance is a big loss and they can do without JRP's schoolyard logic. Search Youtube for 'Al Ludington confrontation' and you will see he is talking sense.

  • JRP, should slowed up and pulled over to the left in the first turn when he was about to be lapped. He wasn't holding a line, he was racing. He's a backmarker in last place, who did he think was trying to pass him?

Yates, should have dropped kicked him like he did the last guy who ticked him off.

  • @brianlp Get your pro license and a bike hot shot and show us how it's done.

  • as much as i think that Johnny "Block" Page is a fool (w/ all the reality bla bla bla b.s)

hes was 100% right holding the line ...

doesn't matter his gone from AMA/DMG w/ the Larry Bitch Crying Pegram incident.

  • yes, hold you line. IN THE CORNER. Johnny Rock Douche had all the time in the world to move out of the way on the staight. everyone wlse in the shot did. Yates may have a history of some questionable riding, at least he isnt a DICK off of the track.

  • As much as I hate both these dickholes, JRP was right here. The book states "hold your line". When you try to "move out of the way" you loose any predictability you had with the guys trying to pass. Would you want a guy to move out of the way about the time you try to pass? Which way? Oh, thats right you have no idea which way he is going..thats why you..... HOLD YOUR LINE!!!!

  • This guy is right.

  • way to go Page! doucher...

  • As much as Im no fan of JRP Im gonna have to side with him on this one. Not only did they catch him at arguably the worst spot on the track there weren't to many blue flags that I could see. Now one could argue he should realize who #4 is and make some room but thats not always easy in the heat of battle. As for Yates he didn't have the corner speed to zap him but again he really just caught him at a bad spot. Thats racin but again JRPs problem is the DMG & fans, most aint feelin him...lol

  • check out the corner workers not doing their job around 52 seconds. they should have been waving the flag instead of just watching the race go by.

  • yo abbyodo i back up what i say...raced against him and rode circles around his backmarker ass then and from the looks of his skills which have improved 0 fold....could still do it... peddle your big shoes and big red nose somewhere else... fyi i never held up leaders i hung with them....

  • All the guys running this class are quick, some are obviously far quicker than others. For some of you clowns on here saying you could ride circles around the backmarkers? Well.....How come your not out there holding up the leaders? JRP is an idiot when it comes to holding up leaders and has done so in the past, to bad aaron yates turned over a new leaf otherwise he may have dropkicked page after the race. LOL

  • I hate NASBIKE!

  • There was no one else even close to him, therefore no position to protect. Despite the rulebook saying to hold your line, it is accepted practice at higher racing levels to show good etiquette and don't get in the way, particularly in the way of a battle for the lead in the closing laps!

    Douche move, for shure

  • Were there any blue flags waved? Doesn't the blue flag indicate fast rider approaching you?

  • dude is such an embarassment to even backmarkers...he blocked hayes and just about wrecked him and then pulled the turd of turd moves in blocking aaron...dude i could ride circles around your slow backmarker ass... such a douchewad!

  • JRP is an idiot, DMG is retarded, and what used to be fun and exciting AMA action has now turned into "the Real World @ da Trak."

  • Johnny "Block" Page...he can say all he wants, he made NO ATTEMPT to move over, and he had NO battle of his own to protect. Should have been docked a lap.

    * GO DMG!! * * GO NASBIKE!!*
