Okay I just figured out my absolute dream cast for Bare: Matt as Peter (of course), Wesley as Matt, Aaron Tveit as Jason, and Lea Michelle as Ivy. EEP how I wish it could happen! I think Bare is such an amazing show, but I'm very particular about the casting, so none of the videos that I've seen from regional productions do it for me. Oh, I wasn't saying that at all! I loved his performance. I think he's trying to pull off the 'brooding teenager' and it totally works for me. I like that he didn't go as over the top as Matt, it's a clear character. And there are obvious differences. I feel like Matt's character is really defeated in this while Peter is more pleading. I think they portrayed that. I dunno. Maybe it's just me. Haha.
