i just think england and america have both produced countless amazin bands in the past but muse are one of the only gd ones out there today in my opinion
I toally agree with yah 1yak2... only reason no americans hear about muse is all the shitty mainstream music cover them up(american bands) apparently over here its a little in between rap and hip-hop shit. I try to convert my friends, but lol i guess they dont hear what I hear, but wish they were more popular here they come here more often.
since their release of black holes and revelations, they have been slowly but surely growing in the states. im sure guitar hero helped as well. but with the release of their next album in september and a HUGE U.S. tour(hopefully) they will be bigger than ever in the US(opinion) but they really need to tour a lot more in the states. overall from my knowledge it seems more and more people are getting to know muse here in the states.
Are you kidding me? Muse aren't very popular in the US. Yes, they have a growing fanbase but compared to the UK, Muse are very underground. Virtually unknown in my parts.
Snow Patrol one of the 5 biggest bands in the world? Don't think so.
Top 5 (although with varying degrees of quality, capable of success anywhere) would probably be something like U2, Green Day, Chili Peppers, Radiohead, Coldplay.
Oh my god. I can't believe I missed this. I can't. I physically can't.. It was either this show or spend two more weeks with my friends - I was so torn it was painful I thought I was going to die.
They'd better be back by this year. They HAVE to. The ocean tour thing they wanna do - NUH UH. NYC. USA. Your fans are here Muse!
The standing area and seats were the same price after all of the fees, but I had to get my tickets during preorder. Some people bought them after preorder for around $100 each.
holy shit i was there! i was getting some drinks when i heard that bass line i just sprinted the hell out of there spilling beer all over me

I love Muse. I've loved Muse for about 2 years now, because of Guitar Hero III (Knights of Cydonia). My favorite album = Origin of Symmetry.
The best part is...I'm from the U.S.
:)

How well known are muse in the US?
mickybr 3 years ago
They're one of the biggest bands in the World.
In the top 5 and up there with Coldplay, The Killers and Snow Patrol.
They're one of the bands that smaller bands from both sides of the river look to and take influence from i think.

I agree with CrackBerryLove
Muse is unknown at least their old stuff is,
there are some really annoying people that call themselves fans because they play guitar hero or saw twilight
I'm a rarity in America
