  • I wonder why for the US public gold medals matter that much. Lindsey Vonn has won the overall World Cup twice now, meaning that she's been the world's best female skiiers for two subsequent years. This counts for more in my view than an olympic medal, which very much depends on the form of the day.

  • I agree 100%, It mostly cause the networks only show X games and stuff like football in the States. No one has a chance to see DH or any slalom. That is until the Olympics roll in.
