I do not like the iphone 4. I still have my iphone 3gs and I find the games especially run a lot smoother compared to the iphone 4. The iphone 4 does have a design flaw as i have tested two iphone 4's and they both lose reception when touched in that area. The square shape is not as comfortable to hold. Hence in the newer shape it will be more curved like the 3gs. Android on the other hand is a lot less restrictive but the app store has a lot of catching up to do.
For what the iPhone 4 is meant for it is simply best. And guess what I have a thick case on mine covering it and I get better quality calls than any other phones I have used. Including my friends android.

I got my iPhone 4 after losing my 3GS, and the antennae problem is definitely real. If you put a finger over the bottom-left-corner you'll see the bars drop one-by-one until there's no bars left (I'm talking 5 bars to zero). It's a pretty big flaw, especially since I normally hold the phone with my right ring-finger held against that bottom-left-corner.
A case pretty much fixes the problem for me, but I think left-handers who hold the bottom-left-corner in their palm would still have issues.
Please follow the instructions: use your both thumb & middle finger to hold iphone 4's higher side, remember not lower side and now ready to dial. Thank you for using iphone 4... LOL
AT&T doesn't have nearly as gret service west side of the U.S. as it does on the east so my signal issue stems a lil further beyond the antennae crisis. The phone over-all is really nice. Doesn't drop signal on newer iPhone4 releases and on recent IOS FW updates. Plus being on a pretty decent carrier like fido helps also. Oh yeah, if your unlocked then you can pick any carrier to be on. Wind anyone...?

Not only the antennae problem, iphone cannot fulfill some simple functions as other old Palm can. For example, calendar provide weekly view.. put to-do list into calendar...

The simple solution to not getting reception problems in the meantime is don't touch the black strip that apple put there to show exactly where it has the "problem" my 3G had the same problem, if I held it too low on the back... why haven't i had a problem with my iphone? nor did 5 of my friends who also have them? i haven't used a case or bumper for it for 2 weeks. i use it all the time. i never got one dropped call. im no att fan nor apple fan. but i feel sometimes its being bombarded with the slightest of excuses for consumers to consider the other touch phones, and made this as a distraction to veer them to them. just my opinion.

The simple solution to not getting reception problems in the meantime is don't touch the black strip that apple put there to show exactly where it has the "problem" my 3G had the same problem, if I held it too low on the back... Reception problems, so I adjusted where I put my hand... I don't see why everybody is freaking out about this issue
