One of the two singers - Qazi Anwar Hossain is the same Qazi Anwar Hossain who later wrote Masud Rana - a bengali version of James Bond. - and Kuasha series, and who owns Sheba Prokashoni. He didn't coninue his singing career for too long. But the the other singer Abdul Alim went on to become a legend of Bangla folk song.

80% of this (Ai je akash) song was sung by Kazi Anwar Hossain. Only one "Antora" was sung by Abdul alim. Money offered to these two singers were distributed according to that portion. Kazi Anwar Hossain Denied to take the money . When it was agreed and confirmed that both will receive the same amount, only then Kazi Anwar Hossain accepted his remuneration.

That Antora seems to be heart of this song. Abdul Alim's voice is stunning and purely god gifted.
His voice matches the voice of KL Saigol in terms of quality. Sad that he died so early.
Another top quality male singer was Mahmudunnabi. But Alim is unparallel.
