I want to start the diet but I have no support from my family and I'm afraid that if I buy the food processor I will not commit to it. Any tips on how to stay on the diet without quitting?
@malo908 Yes remember these three steps: The first step to do is to make sure your family understands why you are going on a green diet. Try to get them to watch the movie Forks Over Knives. The second step is to diet with a sense of moderation; don't follow a juice-only diet. Allow yourself to have one meal per day with minimal animal products. The third step is to realize that the first week of your diet is going to be the worst. After the first week, it gets so easy that you won't believe it.
I drink about 3 of those per day, and sometimes I add just a little bit more apple and sometimes tangerines for sweetness. You can use spinach or broccoli instead of kale. This juicer cost me $199 on amazon. I looked up the Jack Lalanne PJP Power Juicer Pro that you mentioned and it seems to cost about $170 on amazon, but the reviews are not quite as good as Breville's products. Thanks for your message!
@Darqhadouken I usually drink the juice right away but sometimes I save it for a day or two in the refrigerator and it still tastes very fresh. It comes with a one year limited warranty. I've used it every day for three months and I haven't had any problems.
@prebek How many times a day do you drink a glass of the concoction? Do you have to have kale or will any other leafy green do? How much did that juicer cost...do you know any good deals on it? I'm thinking about getting a Jack Lalanne Juicer. What have you heard about that brand?
@Darqhadouken I am on Day 25/60 juice fast and I am losing weight and feeling amazing, haven't felt like this for so long, but I wanted to let you know I have the Jack Lalanne Juicer and I Love it, works really good and I have not had any problems with it at all!! hope this helps you. Please check out my channel, Thanks!! :-)
@Darqhadouken personally I just make enough each dat to fill up the whole container once, which is 40 oz. If you want to go on a juice fast I believe most of them involve drinking roughly 60 oz per day, but I don't think the juice fast is a good idea.
@Darqhadouken Not eating any solids means giving up all the fiber and nearly all the protein in your diet. Your digestive system will go into shock and it will get the nutrition it needs by reducing your muscle tissue. There's no sense in "surprising" your body one day by completely changing the way you fuel it. It would be like suddenly deciding to sleep during the day and stay awake all night. Instead, try going three days without eating any meat and dairy. That's a healthier "fast."
@prebek Good point! I plan on using the ingredients in this green recipe for smoothies instead to keep all of the fiber in my diet and using a juicer mainly for fruit juices cause I would like something healthy, fresh and organic to drink with my solid meals.

@prebek How many ounces in a cup/glass are you supposed to drink and how many times a day and days a week should you drink this?
I plan on getting a masticating juicer like a Hurom or Omega VRT350 HD. They seem to extract more juice.
