this is sooo cute lol, despite the fact that mitzu is very bonded with me. i wouldn't let him down, lol he was hand raised, so he trusts humans a little too much. and i'm afraid someone not used to them might freak out and hurt him. :\ . but love the vid lol cutest vid ever
i know he was ust running around and having fun but this is very dangerous. Even if your sugar glider is well bonded to you they could still get spooked by another animal or a loud noise and run. They could get to car away where u cant find them or catch them they are very fast.
so close the curtains so it is darker. but not to dark beacause if there r holes that u cANT c they mite run away. it wud b a good idea 2 close only 2 or 3 depending on how many windows you have
when you get sugs it is not the best to keep them in the sunlight. their eyes can get damaged. but we only took them out for a liitle while wich is okay as long as it it not to bright out
i did not keep them out for so long, only about 10 min so they r fine
ohh and by the way u r right we dont like them to going to the bthrm inside. anothr reason we took them out was because they need fresh air. where do u think they were when they wer not ouur pets? they live in the open so they are fine with the bright lights
actually, gliders come out during the day to grab a bite to eat, drink, or to go to the bathroom. The sun has vitamins and nutrients sugar gliders need just like us humans need. This is why its important that when you chose a place to keep their cage that it is somewhere that gets plenty of sunlite. But, playing the devils advocate, they should not be exposed to bright lights for long periods of time becuase they're eyes can be damaged from it..
