Hi,

Once you have selected your settings simply put on the DreamStar and it will detect REM. The lights and 7 segment display turn off automatically but the device is still on.

When you hold the "Mode" button for 2 seconds that is when and how you turn off the device , when DreamStar is off it will not detect any REM.

hi there .. i just got my DS yesterday and i have one question for you so far :) .. when im ready to use it , i pick my setting ,, then do i just let the ds go off on its own ..when it does go off on its own does that mean the device is set and will detect my rem ? or do i pick my setting then hold for 2 second to turn it off ...im a little confused or am i over thinking this
