  • I have the uverse system and love it. very reasonably priced, and a much better deal than cable. the only problem i have is lack of sports packages. Other than that it's pretty sweet.

  • guys at&t is the worst network I've ever seen. Even when you're having problem, the technical support or costumer service dosn't help you cuz they dont' know enything about they'r service lol. Do not choose at&t trust mee.

  • I have U-verse. It's okay, but I'm close to the signal. I don't find the picture bad at all -- but I only have lousy Charter cable to compare. Face it, all 500-channel broadcast setups suck. Give me IPTV, Blu-ray, and Boxee.

  • i was gonna get u-verse then the technician told me my house is far away from the box. lol Epic fail and it took 1 moth to start the internet service. even more fail.

  • Just as I thought. The HD programming takes up way too much space and this unit can not handle all the info in the quanities that AT&T claims it can and still display full HD. Sounds like another under engineered monstrosity. Thanks, but I'll stick with COX cable for now.

  • U-verse is terrible. I had it for about a month and switched back to comcast. They over-compress the tv signal so all the HD channels look like hell. None of the colors look right, the whites are blinding and the overall picture seems a little blurry compared to comcast.

    Their "total home dvr" isn't all that either. Only the 1st room is a real dvr. Other rooms can only record and playback, not control live tv.

    Also, I had the 15mb internet and it was slower than my 12mb comcast.

  • Uverse and verizon have the best pictures Uverse the fastest internet but your bill will never be the same rate.. the verizon box messes up too much and time warner or cable is freaken slow... and the regular channels look like shit but..... its cheap and reliable

  • I'd love to say great things about the company which has paid my salary for the past 30+ years, but I can't. As other employees of AT&T know, AT&T has turned into a behemoth without discourse or recourse (one hand doesn't know what the other is doing). This is because AT&T continues to consolidate operations at the expense of CUSTOMER SERVICE (an oxymoron-accent on MORON!), so that CEO Randall Stephenson and his inner circle can garner increasing millions of dollars. That is about IT.

  • ... and to bcmasta1returns... I bet you experience NO SIGNAL when it rains... DISH and DIRECT both suck... because everytime that it rains, you loose the signal... I BET you have the same problem... You pay for what you get. They will tell you... Rain doesn't affect the signal, but you better believe it does with such a small dish... You really need one of those 6 ft dishes and the works, to receive a good signal... like they use...

  • I have cable at 20mbps+, but you gotta admit, that was a great video COMMERCIAL ... and I hate commercials... By the way toyznstuff. If you have Cable Internet, all you have to do, is cancel your TV Internet, and you will have the basic channels.. All data (tv and Internet), comes thru the same cable... just hook up your cable with a splitter, and let your TV scan for channels, and you will have as many channels as your TV will go to... FREE Internet TV... DUGH

  • @trebor0926 My mistake. I meant, cancel your TV cable service, but keep your Internet. Then hook the cable up to your TV, then scan for channels, and there you go...BASIC FREE TV over the coax cable. Internet and TV for the price of Internet cable.

  • i am trying to order AT &T Uverse & so far they have showed up & could not run a wire from the pole across the street (25'), & delayed me for 2 weeks, & tomorrow the retards are supposed to show up? i bet my wife $100. that they'll send the same guy who can't run a wire from the pole & we'll still be without...

  • I had this horrible service then i switched to Direct TV HD.Never lost a signal once. Plus it has amazing service. I ordered a remote and it was there within 24 hours.Plus it has great channels and alot more to offer.

  • Terrible customer service! Customer service agents were yelling at me over the phone and I was just laughing cause it seems like this person is taking drugs..ha. Don't switch to Uverse if you have Cox..other wise you are out of luck!!! I understand now why Cox was awarded JP Powers and associates satisfied customers a year ago i think.

  • WOW THIS IS A REAL PIECE OF SHIT COMPANY, THEIR ONLINE BILL PAY IS A FAKE RUNAROUND. I spent a 1/2 hour being sent from on login screen to another, to a home page with no pay options, to another that has a "pay your bill" button, which then sends you back and forth between more login screens.

    WHAT THE FUCK KIND OF COMPANY OF THIS KIND DOES THIS KIND OF JACKASS SHIT.

    And their service is shit, 10x slower than advertised and I have to reregister every 2 days. 1/2 the $ of TimeWarner and it shows

  • Satellite usually goes off of East coast times not west coast usually. I used to have Direct and Dish and now i have Fios and its the same, all East coast times but i love it since i get to watch things earlier than people with cable :D

  • I LOVE my Uverse High Definition,from theDVR i copy to DVD through the COMPONET inputs on theDVD, I give my friends great copies in WIDE SCREEN SD it puts the program name ON the menue automatically,it COSTS me .20 cents for 2 hours,,If you cant give away high quality copies to your friends , whats the point of all this new tech?BUT shame shame on ATT for having NO fine arts programing at all.

  • I have Direct TV HD and I have not lost a signal through two huge snow storms so you may just have a shitty dish.

  • I remember getting U-verse thinking I can save some money over comcast and when I got my bill it was 30 dollars higher than what I was paying with comcast. They told me my bill was going to be $120 per month and when I got billed I ended up paying $150.

  • Uverse is great if you going to just surf the web and watch TV but for me it sucks since I need very high speed internet for what I do. Tho I do enjoy the recording on the TV is quite nice.

  • Amen. Their cheap pay-as-you-go prepaid phones suck even more, especially the Motorola C139. When starting up, those phones are so slow, even the original IBM PC could outrun it. And, you wouldn't believe how susceptible to failure the keys are, and how long the battery lasts: not long at all. How would I know this? I'm one the unlucky users of the C139. It's good for only one thing: Its initial price doesn't break the bank.

  • i am an installer, and honestly the features are good compared to the other choices, the problem is that there are to many shitty installers! bunch of retards not making sure cables are clean and no hidden splitters causing problems, but then again a lot of the houses i install in have 20 year old wiring! not the best for blazing fast fiber speeds! but at&t wants me to run new cable to any room customers want service? some of you people have the most fucked up messy houses ive ever seen!

After having me fix all there chronics and hard installs they let me go for EFFICENCY,, the work load went in the bucket just prior to this and bang I'm fired for that, this company does not care about the worker or the customer, just NUMBERS,, It's funny all my customers said to me WHY didn't the last Technician find that. GO with cable people at&t is a fraud.

  • @James1toknow since i posted that last comment i too was fired. i was spending like 2 hours on lunch but who gives a fuck when i still managed to do literally twice as many installs and repairs on a daily bases compared to the next tech. im talking about 130% efficiency daily and i didnt even get a warning.... FUCK AT&T... 3 years hard work for nothing to show but deeper in debt.... and at&t profited 30 billion dollars last year but did i get paid a decent wage? HELL NO!

  • @xTheHealingCannabisx Sorry to hear that, Same here I was part of the F-2 conditioning as well and was rated 10 out of a 10 with DaVar, the construction group wanted me back and was trying to figure a way but couldn't due to the Union which is fair. My U-Worst manager would call me and say JIM your the best tech I have can you take this chronic? Then they threw me under the bus. This will all come back to haunt at&t you watch.

  • @James1toknow yeah i was on F2 for a while as well doing TI testing not davar but i was testing 230 pairs a day! believe you me i didnt make any friends with those numbers but was trying to prove my worth to the company. then once i was in installs i would get the same thing being asked to go with a manager to a pissed customers house and not getting any efficiency for it. oh and picked up plenty of chronics and got the r-10 for them too because it was outside plant or something!

  • @xTheHealingCannabisx That don't make it right! And it needs to be corrected I have a great reputation in the telecom field for really great installations residential as well as business. Business is where I got started. I have installed 1 to 500 plus phones and networks, wireless, paging with coverage of 45 to 85 thousand sq ft, PBX to voicemail with tree structuring and complex trunk grouping. CSU OPX optical and electro mechanical, the list is staggering. They need to make this right.
