one years ago i watch one of ur videos...and today im realized that ur lesson are very easy for me to understand...and im starting watching all ur video...and this videos i think the climax of ur skill....thx man...u reviving my dream about harmonica...im learning again from the start....thx man...i mean it
man good job. i play the diatonic harp myself, and i admire your kreativity in the music. i have a hard time, i'm kinda stuck in monotony at the moment. i need kreativity.
I have one simple question... what key are you playing in?
I keep thinking that the song is in G. So I picked up a C harp to play along. I tried following Jimi's line in the song. At around 2:22 he hits a series (5d 5b ?? 4d, I believe) What is that 3rd note (??)?
BTW: You guys are excellent. Notes are right in the pocket. I bow to the masters.
@JimiLeeHarmonica Thanks, man. I never had time to go back and listen to it. I've been sending folks towards your jam tracks. I hope they purchased it.
Thought I'd already commented on this ages ago, but not so. So, thanks to you and Jimi for a truly inspirational duo performance. If this is what you guys do after 5 minutes' prep, you're amazing :-)
After my first failed attempt to learn harmonica, some 15 years ago, I am again motivated by your various videos to start it again.. Thanks and keep the great work up
haha jimi's modded harp sounded a lot louder than your out of the box, but other than that this jam was the best i've seen in a long time. great stuff, five stars
hey that was really great. just so damn catchy too im born & raised on hawaiian music and this...this is just what we call " THREE MUCH" ....a play on the expression " too much" . really great guys 10 of 5 stars.
your videos really helped me thank you, it was hard as hell for me at first to single out a note but i can now do it thanks to your video for beginners. you guys both rock!
Hope everyone knows that Jimi is a fixture both at SPAH and Buckeye (at least the last half dozen I've attended)..he's known for being the roving troubadour in the hallways, creating spontaneous blues or country jams wherever the mood strikes. He's given Seminars and headlined as well, and is a very nice guy. Incredible tone..Jimi's one of those guys never needs a mic..OR an amp for that matter. I have a few of his CD's. :)
Very cool sitting and picking song. Really felt that groove.
Wow.. an instant classic... I really love the harp line! And Jimi's got some serious soul there!! I feel like its almost a mix between a herbie hancock line, the old grey whistle test, and some middle eastern blues drawl thing... excellent composition, truly
ohhh dude thats a great stuff in there ... im from mexico and i would like to play de blues harp as well as you do but what tune i must to have the blues harp because i have one of this in F and i cant play any song .... sorry about my bad englishh
Great Video. My goal is to someday be half as good as Jimi is on harmonica. I think you guys are on to something, you dont see too many harmonica duo's. Loved it.
Jimi's one of my favourite harp players. I also love the way his muted guitar style compliments his harp playing. He's so inspiring, and on several levels too. Thanks for the vid Dan.
Haha, that was so cool. I've a harp brace so I can play guitar and harmonica at the same time. But I have to learn how to play the harmonica first, haha.
Crazy jam session, Dan Gage is so cool. (and Jimi Lee, too)
wow Dan! that was fantastic! you and Jimi are excellent together. I've been a fan of yours for awhile and your help and lessons here have been SO helpful! thanks for all you do, there are lots of people out here who appreciate it!
Nice job! Met Jimi at Tampa Jam camp a couple years ago. One of the nicest guys I`ve ever met, UNBELIEVABLEY talented, and just one of those guys that has a true gift for teaching. If any of you ever get the chance to hear his music or meet him, DON`T pass it up!

@RODRICK14 We were playing C harps over guitar in G. It was probably 4Db or 4OB. I don't have time to listen to it at this moment. sorry.
