Amigo, you are getting close to correct with your guessing. She is 3 years old now. The fangs don't have the biting power, they are used to hold the prey. The power she has in her jaw. Her back teeth are like knives, if she wanted to, she'd brake my arm or leg with one bite. The idea is to let her play and not force her to do anything against her own will, this way I am more or less safe. I am not a trainer to her, she considers me as her "dad" and there is a lot of respect between us. Play On!

His favorite game was to latch onto the heels of my steel toe Doc Martins and have me try to drag him around while I was trying to do my work.

I've read the big big cats, Tigers especially, have killed and injured keepers and trainers by going too far in play like this - they don't realise their strength and a "play" bite severs someone's cord or slashes an artery! A cat that size is probably manageable providing he's not making a serious effort to bite through your spine!
