@5ch3nk In the Song Manager, there's a historic folder with your old songs. If it's empty, go back to the song manager, HOLD THE LEFT TRIGGER while you enter the historic folder and it will rebuild the cache.

@XboxMoments Currently; yes, you need a capture card or an RCA to 1/8" adapter cable. With the adapter cable you can connect your 360 audio to a PC and record the song while it's playing.

We are working on an update that will allow you to transfer stuff off the 360 without so much work. The new system sends the music to the ezmuze . co . uk site and stores it as mp3 in your profile.

I believe the only feature you'll miss out on with a silver account is being able to share songs on XBL. Other than that, I think everything else works. Sharing is the only "Live" feature.

There is definitely an update in progress. The update won't contain any new loops but it'll fix all the glitches and add some new features and interface changes.

After that we'll be working on Drum and Bass edition and after that Pro Edition. Pro will be the one that has DLC packs, a note editor, drum pattern sequencer, synthesis and all sorts of fancy features to bring it up as close to the level of a pro music app as we can.

You can select areas by holding the A button and moving around. You can select every track if you want. Once you have the area selected, move to the area you want to copy it to and press X and it'll paste there. If you hold X for a moment it'll paste the automation too. :)

hey :) i just wanna say I LOVE EZMUZE! The last thing that came close to this was mtv music generator on the 1st xbox, it had more sounds and a melody and beat maker but the quality of the samples on ezmuze is outstanding and never gets old and blows it clear out of the water. Besides music genrator had a huge budget and access to licences and stuff, screw them :> i realy want to upload some of my songs but have no idea how to do it, how do i convert the files to an mp3???? thanks =]

You can get an RCA to 1/8" adapter cable. They cost about a dollar. Use that to connect your 360 audio cables to your PC via line in and record the song as it's playing.

You can use a freeware program like Audacity or Wavosaur to record the audio. I think those can also make them into mp3s, but if they don't, get LameDropXP. :)

No matter what, I am happy some people revived console music creation softwares. None came out since 2004 (MTVMG3, which was way more limited than the first two)

It's like if companies just thought: "oh well they just have to use FL Studio", but something made these console things stand out from the PC counterparts: they were easy to learn and use. On PC, the only software I felt comfortable with is Sony ACID and Magix (which crashed a lot)

The demo time limit isn't within our control. It's the same for all Indie Games (previously, Community Games).

It used to be 4 minutes. Microsoft increased the time limits to 8 minutes earlier this year.

XBLA stuff gets to set it's own demo restrictions.

The program doesn't have an mp3 export feature as it's not something the XBL Indie Games can do. Microsoft disallows access to non-MS servers, so there's no way to send something to or from the console.

This limitation doesn't exist for XBLA games though, so we're aiming for a proper Arcade release with the Pro edition of ezmuze, which should are hoping to have finished next year.

Right now you have to record the mp3s yourself. You can use an RCA to 1/8" adapter to plug the 360 to your PC.

This specific version will never become an arcade release. The Arcade release will be the Pro Edition which have more features and more control than this one. It will be a completely separate purchase.

The goal with Pro Edition is to make a fully featured music tool that someone could produce a full album with if they wanted to.

Yes, it'll be on XBOX 360 and PC. Pro will be very different from HE. It also won't be out for a while. :)

Pro is the dream version. The one where we try to implement every wishlist item and make something that can be used to produce an album.

Pro will be a full sequencer type application where you can create your own melodies and rhythms if you want.

i know this is a dumb question, but what button do you press on the xbox version to delete atomation effects?

It's actually a feature we forgot to put in. In the patch coming up, holding B will delete automation too.

For right now though: In the pattern mode, select the area you want to clear the automation from then go into automation mode. In automation mode, simple volume changes can be cleared by pressing in both analog sticks. Gates and sines can be cleared by going into the insert menu, moving left one and then moving back onto the blank box.

You can do that by switching to automation mode and silencing the part you don't want to hear.

Switch to automation mode with LB. Then select the area you want to be silent by holding A and moving with the D-Pad. Then turn the volume of that area down by holding down on the analog sticks. :)

I'm looking into how to share the music via mp3 I see the files it created when we save the music is 70kb, is there a copy of this game on the pc we can use? maybe I can work out how to get those files loaded and convert to mp3 on the pc, I have transfer kits so I can access my xbox 360 Memory unit ; )

There is no PC version at the moment. Currently the only way to get the music into MP3 form is to record the audio via line out.

I use an RCA to 1/8" adapter to plug the 360 into my PC. Works good. :)
