Robert definitely plays with heavier tone, but David is still a great Euphonium player.

hes good...but his son David Childs is better...it might seem like this guy is "better polished" but thats cuz he is playing slower than David...i personally go for David...he would definately kick da shit out of his dad if they played in a competition

I remember all of this, a few years earlier i was in the Young Musician of the year comp, met some phenomemal Euph players, but we all gave it upto go teaching.... The late 70's early 80's was a EUPh,onasia... We had the best players around, John Hall, Dougie Bird, Richy Hogg, Mark Hicks, bring back those days. Clear, articulate solid playing, the soloists of their day....ROCK ON...
