  • OMG my pediatrician forced back my baby's foreskin at his last appointment (4 days ago) when I asked him how I was supposed to be cleaning it. I had never pulled back the skin, and my baby started screaming in pain. His doctor put his diaper back on and hurried out of the room and when I checked my son afterwards it was actually bleeding! I showed the nurse that came in and she told me not to worry and to make sure I start pulling back the skin to clean it. What do I do???

  • @smonroy45 That is NOT normal. Whatever you do, DO NOT FORCE IT! This can cause infection and even scarring. You really should contact your clinic about the incident. As to whether you should be retracting it, it's not really necessary until he's fully able to do so himself.

  • @smonroy45

what the fuck? You need to find a new doctor that isn't completely retarded. At that babies age the foreskin is still fused to the glans of the penis. That's straight up like ripping your fingernail of the nail bed.

  • @smonroy45 i would have kicked the doctor's ass. seriously.

  • pity american doctors (nearly all of them) on youtube feel this childish need to hang a device around their necks to suggest some sort of authority. It reminds me of every employee over there, they're all "vice presidents". "Irrtated and raw" he says? It's been damn well mutilated! Americans make me livid and absolutely ill regarding this subject. One video after the other regarding genital mutilation, they ALL come from the US, the home of mass mutilation (after the religious).

  • I have raised four adopted son, one circumcised and three intact. Intact care was very simple, like this doctor says. My circumcised son's foreskin stump had all ready stuck back down when we got him. Our doc pulled it loose, which was horrible! I tried to keep it from reattaching, but it just resulted in more pain. I finally decided to leave it alone. It healed and, when he was two, what was left of his foreskin loosened on its own, just like it would have if it had been intact.

  • This is great! There is really no excuse for physicians not knowing that it is wrong to force back the foreskin of a baby or young child. The American Academy of Pediatrics has been very straightforward on that for decades, yet some American physicians still insist on inflicting pain and injury on children this way. Any parent whose physician advises, or performs, any kind of retraction of an infant's foreskin should file a complaint against him/her!

  • Eh hello there is NOTHING to discuss. It is perfect from birth and doesn't need to be MUTILATED- DUH!

  • Hey Doc, r u circumcised?

  • It's so sad how there are still so many doctors and nurses today that believe parents must forcibly retract the foreskin and of course, if there is ANYTHING wrong with the penis, they'll automatically recommend circumcision without exploring any other (less invasive) options. I mean, how the fuck can these people graduate from medical school without knowing the BASICS of a body part?! If only more people in the medical field could be like Dr. Sears. He actually knows what he's doing.

  • LOL WTF ..you finally found out that you dont have to do anything with your babys penis?

and i thought we abolished unnecessary medical procedures since Josef Mengele..

what sick person whould do this voluntary to their own child ?

  • @pritykazy, circumcision isn't necessary or desirable! No normal mother hands over her precious, perfectly born, bundle of joy for painful penile cutting. No medical society recommends you do. What happened to your maternal instinct? In Europe, only Jews and Moslems cut babies. The WHOLE penis works better - google "foreskin function"!

If foreskin is unhygienic, you American women should get your inner labia and clitoral hood cut off to simplify your own hygiene, and match your mutilated men.

  • @pritykazy Yep, it's obvious how little you know on the subject. Your husband's experiences don't count for shit. Myself and other men regret our circumcisions. It's not more hygenic and it reduces sexual sensitivity. The fact that you call it "excess skin" and compare it to an umbilical cord only confirms your ignorance on circumcision. Once again, you have a foreskin too. I'll bet you wouldn't call that "extra skin" or argue that a doctor could remove it from a little girl.

  • @pritykazy You say you're an advocate of freedom of choice, but that's exactly why so many of us oppose circumcision. It shouldn't be the parent's choice whether or not to cut off part of their child's penis. That should be the choice of the kid himself, and often he isn't given the choice.

The fact that you call the intact penis a "banana with skin" shows how ignorant you are on the topic. You have a foreskin too (clitoral hood). Think about getting that cut off before promoting circumcision

  • genitalia Mutation should be illegal.

  • OK... OK... this shit makes perfect sense. You people just sound like a bunch of kool-aid drinkers with all of the crazy buzz-words... i.e. 'barbaric', 'mutilation', 'butchery'... cmon now... you should know that that is not how you proove a point. Calm down yall. In about 10 years this will be a moot issue and circumcission will be rare.

  • Not if jackasses like Stephen Lewis have their way and coerce the CDC to force it on everyone.

  • @lp42884life In about ten years it might be "rare" but in the meantime, there are people who take it upon themselves to remove the most sensitive area of the penis from their child. It's partial castration and it's wrong, a lot more wrong than, say, slapping your 2 year old, which we all acknowledge is excessive, a lot more wrong, than, say, a beating that breaks a few bones. Nobody is exaggerating here. Surgically removing the most sensitive area of someone's reproductive organs? Butchery.

  • @lp42884life "Calm down yall. In about 10 years this will be a moot issue and circumcission will be rare."

No without a substantial public protest. Given the strong culture for infant penis sculpting, a ban on male circumcision is in order, just as a 1996 fan on any form of female circumcision, included removal of only clitoral hood or a ceremonial pin-prick, was needed to stop the practice in a tiny fraction of 1% minority.

  • If you butcher your child, I've got news for you, you have to take care that your child doesn't experience further harm as a result of that butchery. If you leave your male child intact, you don't have to do anything.

    Hmm.... which one to choose?

  • Did you hear that? He's talking about the healing process for the circumcised boy! Are we nuts? Who needs a healing process for a baby that was perfectly OK before he was butchered by an unscrupulous doctor? JUST SAY NO TO THIS BARBARIC PRACTICE.

  • ONLY CLEAN WHAT IS SEEN!

  • When i was 4 or 5 i did what he said and i meased with it until it came back and i was like WTF is that! (the head) lol XD. its just sad how many boys are getting cut in the usa.

  • At least one pediatrician who understands and knows that a foreskin is a NORMAL HEALTHY organ.

  • Oh God how horrible, the left over skin getting "stuck" to the "raw" head! Imagine the pain with they urinate, or even if poo gets in it. How can people not think of these things!?

  • '

yes a baby boy with his 100% natural uncircumcised penis is the best,,,

do NOT cut a baby boy penis skin OFF,,,

leave a baby boy natural penis alone,,,

a man with his 100% natural uncircumcised penis is the best and so pretty sexy penis and great wonderful sex with a woman so much

  • circumcision is child abuse. the foreskin is then sold to medical establishments for big bucks. think about it people, the foreskin is human tissue! duh. think ya'al been hoodwinked into thinking circumsision is the right thing to do, it aint!!!!!!! god dont make mistakes, foreskins are a male childs birthright. if you are worried about hygene , why not try washing!!!! DUH! some people are too thick!!!!!

  • If you wish to regenerate your original foreskin, check out foregen.org

Although, to keep up with their studies, we need everyone to donate some money to help out.

  • @stophacking4skins restoringforeskinDOTorg also has GREAT info!!

  • circumcision is merely cultural ;many groups/races do not engage in said act since foreskin is a natural part of the penis

  • It is rarely retractable or retracted already at birth, but should become so by age 3 - 5. I agree with someone else that said the boy should be free to decide circumcision for himself when he is able to make an informed decision, at some age of reason, or maybe around puberty.

Meanwhile, he should be taught from the earliest age when his foreskin becomes retractable to keep it retracted and clean at all times. Bare is best.

  • I'm glad my dad decided not to cicumcise me. Hygene is not the huge deal some make it out to be, and uncircumcised men retain greater sensation in the head of their penis.

  • It also says that they don't recommend routine infant circumcision. Circumcised men do get penis cancer. Dimwit.

  • @JayZeelz Google the American Cancer Society's statement on circumcision and penis cancer. You're simply wrong. It's another circumcision legend and nothing more.

  • How could you be ashamed of being loved so much that you were left whole? U gave them the power over U!, you let them "teasers" make you feel ashamed of being whole when it was them that were ashamed of not being loved enough, you allowed the power of a silly female to overcome you to the extent that you had your body altered not because you wanted it but due to there shame. and ignorance. ANY parent that LOVES their son, will have them left INTACT when they are born ! HIS BODY HIS CHOICE !

  • @helookalikaman79 Good point.

  • @jeffflatt

I hope you never have a child.

and I'm not an extremist. being against circumcision is no more extreme than being against child rape, or people who are against beating children up for spilling milk.

I have a life btw working with children.

  • @jeffflatt

Very well I pose a few questions to you based on your response.

    1) Do you believe that because the child does not remember the experience that it justifies the action?

2)If you believe that it is ok, because the child does not remember it, then what other actions towards a newborn infant are you ok with, or not ok with, based on it not remembering. (ie hitting a baby, piercing a babies lip, giving a baby a tattoo? What if those things were for a religious purpose?

  • @jeffflatt

Good idea, lets put our infants through immense pain and mutilate their dick to conform to a social norm.

No. Would you chop of your daughters labia if you lived in Africa because all the other women will make fun of her? Move to europe, canada, or anywhere else in the world except america if you want a normal intact penis to be accepted.

  • I didnt circumsize my son, and when i saw a baby who was at a baby group.. i was shocked.!!! i thought he had no penis.!!! it looked like a belly button. :/

  • Your absolutley right. Its a shame how many people are embarrased by the topic of masturbation.

Cicumcision is absolutley useless and should be banned except as an absolutley last resort option to cure a foreskin problem.

My parents were misinformed when I was a baby and they thought you had to forcefully retract the foreskin or else it won't come down and get infected. Because of this I have had problems with my penis my whole life, and I still have phimosis and frenelum breve.

  • If you are suffering from phimosis i have a great tip that could see your problem gone in 3 or 4 months. You know them flesh tunnels that are fashionable at the moment? If not google it. Basically they are stretching devices generally worn in the ear. Use only silicone tunnels as they will not cause irritation avoid solid or rubber tunnels and increase in a maximum 2mm every two weeks. Wear the tunnel constantly even during urination.

  • Take it out about twice a day to clean it, but never leave it out for more than 15 mins as skin retracts quickly. once you reach a size where your foreskin can retract comfortably keep the flesh tunnel in place for at least 6 weeks to allow the skin to fully adjust and to avoid the skin shrinking again once you take it out. PM me for any more info.

  • There is nothing wrong with masturbation. It is a perfectly normal, natural and healthy activity. Those of you who put so much energy into fearing it is one of the reasons why so many infant boys are permanently mutilated in America through circumcision. We all have the inalienable right to the wholeness of our bodies from the moment we are born to the moment we die. Put your energy into recognizing the human rights violations of infant boys in America. Help stop MALE GENITAL MUTILATION.

  • Really? we should encourage the baby boys to play with themselves?? You said at the age of 1 or 2!!! This seems a bit sick!

  • ur obviously sick minded.

and when u hear "playing with themselves"

    u think masturbation.

    grow up.

  • what do you think "playing with themselves" means? you think they're talking about playing with his toes maybe? No, he's talking about playing with his penis, also known as masturbation.

  • Fetus' have been recorded playing with their penises and even getting erections. It's completely normal and not sexual in any way. It just feels good, that's all.

  • I never knew that about the in utero playing with the penis. That is interesting. It sugguests more of the instinctual aspect and not sexual. And if retraction of the foreskin is a delecate and slow process then I supposed it makes sense that the boy should do it. After all he knows best how much it can be moved without pain or damage. Thanks for that info.

  • It's my pleasure.

  • My son had an erected penis on the ultrasound,

  • thanks for that info! rofl "sarcasm"

  • LMAO! GET IN THERE

  • no encouragement necessary:

even fetuses masturbate, its a natural bodily function.

    no encouragement recommended either pervs.

  • paradox, yeah i get it now, see my comment/response to tavereen. i misunderstood, didn't know, sorry, so no need to send me messages on the issue. its all nautral. got it

  • you dont need to encourage them to do it, they do it by themself.

  • ok already, people read my other more recent comments. and stop sending me yours. i already said it- i get it. i only thought it was strange to read that babies play with themselves in the womb since newborns have so little control over their limbs and hands. they have to work at simply taking hold of a toy that's right in front of them. i didn't think they had the dexterity for playing with themselves. just my thoughts but whatever, i dont want to start an argument

  • Please if you may. Watch the entire movie Whose body, whose rights there is a history of circ. reliable info. It divided into 6 pieces, please watch them if you may and if you wish send me a comment. Whose body, whose rights

  • And I also thik taht what has been done in my case was very good! My foreskin retracted early! How was I supposed to remember for myself about this cleaning when I was so young. If my parents hadn't retracted my foreskin for washing when I was a baby, it would have becoe sore. This doctor forgot about my case:retractable foreskin from the very beginnig of the live. The rest of information presented here is not bad!

  • All in all very good!I'm from poland uncircumcised and my mom is a doctor with a similar opinion! But just one thing is missing here:my foreskin became retrctable(fully!)when i was 15 months old! my parents kept it retracting and cleaning benaeth it and when i was4 my dad told me how to do it for myself, how to recognize, whether everything with my penis is ok! Some foreskins become retractable when the child is more tahn 10 years old! Its individual!

  • The basic message here is...

If he is intact, you don't have to do anything.

If he is circumcised, you have to take great care to be sure infections and fusion of the wound does not occur.

    The solution? Leave him intact!

  • Oh my goodness! I can't BELIEVE how many mothers have told me "You know you're going to have to take special care for it if you don't get him cut!" It didn't make ANY sense to me. After my son is born I thought to myself a lot "Wow, this is messy enough without having to worry about an open wound!" Use logic, people!

  • @rayray695 in my country Norway no one get cicumcised and if some one was they whoud be laughet at! because its un normal and if some Mom say i gonna cut my SON HURRAY! people whoud haw sayd "UR JOKING RIGHT!?" AND MY COUNTRY IS LIKE 80% ATHIST MOAST PEOPLE ARE MEMBER OF THE Church BUT DONT REALY CARE ABOUT THEYR RELIGIONAND ITS UNDER 1000 JEWS U DONT WANNA NOW WHY! AND UNDER 75000 MUSLIMS AND NO HOSPITALS HAW THE TOOLS FOR CIRCUMCISION!

  • @gameboy699 Hey, I love the US and all, but they have to stop mutilating their baby boys! Luckily, it IS declining! When I was born, 80% of all males were, and now it's closer to half (in some areas, closer to 30%).
