what I hate about water color painting is that I always happen to put my hand on the paper then it distroy the drawing

shoot, it makes me wonder if I should have gotten the tubes instead of the pencils. v.v

but i kind of like using the watercolor pencils (though my skill level is like 0), so I'm wondering now if I'd be able to get the same effect as with tubes or sth... I probably can, but the way I've been using the pencils...

i use tubes too... i think its easier to use than pencils, for an entire piece....

generally, i would watercolor pencil to add small details, or to add color in hard to reach places...

then again, im no pro, so what do i know?

I usually get that watercolor-from-a-tube effect by scribbling on some scrap paper, dipping the brush in it a bit and then painting directly on the image... v.v

but every now and then I just use the pencils as is on the drawings I make. *sigh* But I should have both tubes and pencils like you do. :D Though it's extremely hard for me to use colors because I'm not a very colorful person (lol wat?). XD
