hes playing in Drop C obviously i dont like the tone distortion quality too much feedback and buzz saw type sound. I like those line 6 spiders insane distortion its so crisp not one ounce of static in it

I think that's a bit harsh... What I like about Petrucci over Gilbert is that he's more a heavy metal guitar player, Gilbert's solo albums (some of them at least) are too mellow, a lot of love songs. Don't take me wrong I still think he is a monster and technical but I think Petrucci has talent too.

Petrucci is no robot he is an amazing guitarist his songs are amazing an many of his solos are are very soulful different style than Wylde but his style is still amazing they both are, and thank goodness theyre different and they each inspire people in different ways will their own style. Both inspirations to me....And by the was the quality of the audio is not his tone its becuz he had it cranked when it was recorded, to much for the camera mic
