WELL I BELIEVE THAT IT IS HIS NATIONAL ANTHEM JUST AS IT IS MINE...HOW R U OR ANYBODY ELSE TO QUESTION HOW HE WANTS TO DO IT...I THINK IT IS A HELL OF ALOT BETTER THAN HALF THE PEOPLE WHO SING THAT TUNE

US anthem has been featured everywhere ,baseball stadiums,boxing rings,bar mitzvhas,funerals,etc etc(which is not a bad thing) but the way is presented is more like a circus act & I think that beautiful piece of music deserves more respect because it represents a part of american culture & its values & frankly a lot of these performers they just do a deformed version of it ,they don't really pay homage to the anthem or its meaning, they are simply performing a pop version

@punkmetalrock77 It's good to disagree on that matter , Zakk is a great player & I like his playing & I can notice his passion while playing the anthem but this is not about him .

The anthem should be performed with respect & deference to the american culture...I see it that way.

@fugnuzzle1970 I agree with you about Hammett, but just because Zakk is extremely popular does not mean he is over-rated. He is a wonderful and versatile guitar player; he can go from full on metal to chickin' pickin' country and can be very clean. Sometimes he isn't but that was usually when he was drunk. He's sober now so he should be getting his act together and back to being f'n awesome. Hammett is completely over-rated and his tone is awful now.
