God isn't going to Spite the drivers just cuz the pastor said and unorthodox prayer... he gave thanks and some levity prior to a race... he should be commended for bring his religion to the present not leaving it in the past... hell i even said amen to it and im not a nascar fan or even religious.

Not once did he pray for the safety of the drivers the pit crews nor the fans at any time during that prayer. Those things he thanked God for are things we created not necessity's of life at all. Just my opinion and I don't think Boogidee Boogidee is an example of how Jesus would end a prayer there is no respect in that at all. But i do see what your saying about not praying so stiffly.

Well Lokki there are wrong ways to pray to God otherwise why are we given examples in the Bible,some by Jesus himself,on how we should pray? This guy was more interested in drawing attention to himself and trying to be funny than he was giving thanks to God. One thing admonished more than anything else in the Bible is making a mockery of God. It would have been better not to have prayed at all than do it like this.
