  • This is an excellent posting .. thank you

  • Over one hundred years ago D.D. Palmer, the founder of Chiropractic said that health is the result of right living and that diseease is the result of wrong living. This concept that the body was designed to heal itself is part of the basis of Chiropractic care. It is nothing new or revolutionary to us. He also stated that the cause of all disease was trauma, toxicity and thoughts.

  • Once you are healthy, illness goes away.

  • Awesome!

I took responsibility for my health just over 3 years ago. If I can do it, anyone can!!

    Pass on the knowledge, folks!!!

  • Lets face it, modern medicine now test for certain genes and they seem to be getting it right in terms of predicting problems. So how can you say genes have nothing to do with it? Clearly, it has something to do with it, it might only be 10% but that is a more accurate thing to talk about.

  • RE: Noz7777 's post

What this video says is that genes behave based on our lifestyle. Gene express or not (get turned on or off) based on how we live our life. Living as our parents (same diet, same life style, same stress level, same environment) will take us to the same place, meaning that we will end up with the same diseases ours parents have. So, the diseases are not really genetically inherited but developed based on similarities of lifestyle.

  • I can understand what you've suggested here, as it makes more sense to my understanding of genetics (which I studied a bit).

I'd probably prefer more content and real-life examples.

I stick by my assertion that genes do have *something* to do with it... but by and large I agree with you.

The way I think about it is what diseases are people prone to, given a poor environment.

  • genetics do not predetermine disease.

Responsibility produces health; irresponsibility (or ignorance) produces disease.

  • That is your opinion, which is also the opinion of the video. If you were speaking with me in person I'm sure you'd explain yourself to some extent. As it is I feel like I've wasted 3 minutes I'll never get back.

If you were speaking with me face to face, listening to my valid interest and somewhat sceptical response... what would you say?

Don't bother to reply unless you are actually engaging with a mutual area of interest.

  • Disease is the product of ignorance or irresponsibility; either you don't know the right thing to do, or you just don't do it. To deny this is to assume the position of a victim, powerless and pitiful. Do not reduce yourself to the position of a victim. The truth is out there... and falling back on the "genetics" excuse is just giving up.

  • Well I'm healthy, so I'm not too concerned. I don't need any excuses. I'm more interested in the intellectual rigour of the claims in the video than 'getting healthy'. As you can tell I'm reluctant to blame the person for their illness in every single case and I'm sure that you can see where I'm coming from. eg. sickle cell anaemia...

I probably won't reply again as you don't seem interested in the topic in the same way I am.

  • you seem to confuse blaming and warning. you seem to claim that just because people have a disease, they should be allowed to feel like a victim rather than accept their capability to ameliorate their illness. to blame genes and accept the allopathic meme is to surrender responsibility. to accept the warning is to take responsibility. people should be empowered to see past the mantra of genetic predetermination (learned helplessness) and to achieve greater health.

  • I'm a Chiropractic believer, I go to a chiropractor (After the doctors told me THREE times nothings wrong go home) My chiropractor is EPIC and saved me, and tought me how to save myself by not sitting so badly lol I even want to be a Chiropractor! I just want to know, isen't there some cases that you simply cannot just be well. Like cancer? Cancer isen't really a thing that is cause by a life style is it?

  • beautiful

  • From the thumbnail I thought this was another cop chocking an EMT video.

  • Good information...

  • great video, thanks for sharing!

  • Thank you, good points!

  • Does the absence of cannabis from our daily lives have anything to do with this? After all humans do have cannabinoid receptors in our bodies and you find cannabiniods in mothers milk.and if anyone can not find harm in mothers milk then why is this plant kept from the populace? Cannabis is a miracle plant.

  • That is really interesting. What other foods also have cannabinoids in them?

  • I looked and goggled foods that have cannabinoids in them but it looks like only cannabis/Hemp oil and cannabis/hemp protein has this miracle nutrient in it. Mankind has been cultivating cannabis/hemp for some 10,000 years now its only been in the past 70 years its been out of our use. "prohibited" Cannabis is a miracle plant and it cures some forms of cancer. This country has an obligation to its citizens to legalize it now

  • and have you researched the side effects of addiction to cannabis???!

  • Have you researched the deadly side effects of common Aspirin? Have you ever seen a commercial on T.V. about many pharms that have side effects that can destroy your liver with just prescribed amounts? We have been lied to and now this country can not afford to lie anymore.

  • whole hemp seeds, not just isolated oil or protein

  • I started the oil and protein I don't think my appendix could handle seeds everyday.

  • chew seeds well, since they are high in fiber.

Also soak seeds first to make them easier to digest.

  • Very well stated.

  • People, Keep eating mcdonalds and all the fast foods that is presented to you. youll be fine and it wont affecyt your DNA. Fools

  • It'll just make you fat! Heart attack anyone?

  • It won't just make you fat. It affects your continuity, creates more blockage in the intestines and contribute to a whole host of other problems. Addiction to fast foods is very real (due to the chemical put into them), and very under-addressed.

  • It was just an off the cuff remark - but I get what your saying. Thumbs up from me (mostly due to the fact the comment isn't belittlling)

  • never mind excito-toxins that excite brain cells so much they eventually die off. You are making your self fat and dumb by eating at these places.

  • rockefeller owns mcdonalds. does that not say it all.

  • damn didnt know that, very interesting,

  • Can you source that? Not saying that I don't believe you. I just want to be sure.
