I guess if they got a job they could get back on the right track. There are many governmental organizations and churches who will help people who are sober and drug free but they don't want to give up their vices. They get what they deserve which is to be cold and hungry. If a man does not work sho will he not eat. Not sure how you think someone should all their needs taken care of so they can be free to go do drugs and rob people?

It's not the problem of the U.S. that there is hunger in the world. What aid we do send to countries with hunger problems is REGULATED by their own goverment. Take most countries in Africa for example, when we send aid to them it goes through their own system...most of the time that aid, that is meant for the hungry and poor, never reaches it because of the corruption of the forces in charge there.

This is called capitalism, where only the money flow matters. And I'm sorry to say, but in this the USA is the number one. It's not something Your citizens, or other countries citizens ever wished for, this is simply "money talks".
