its funny how the dudley boyz persona came into ECW, it turns out raven was drunk and proberbly high (again) and whent into the office and started saying how he had another great idea which the writers where orginaly rolling there eyes and smacking the heads on the desks whilst trying how they got into that situation, anyway so the dudleys was raven idea and he just expanded it like his other ideas, hes a genius at this stuff.

@stringdog911: The original Dudleys gimmick was derived from the Hanson Brothers in the Paul Newman hockey movie Slap Shot. The ECW Arena fans caught onto this immediately when the Dudleys debuted at ECW Hardcore Heaven 95, chanting "Old time hockey!" Raven created the Blue Meanie after watching the Beatles movie Yellow Submarine. Tod Gordon originally dismissed it as another "drunken Raven idea."

Uh, no. The original Dudleys were Dudley Dudley (Jeff Bradley, the guy who was throwing the garbage around), Little Snot Dudley (Anthony Michaels) and Big Dick Dudley (Alex Rizzo- R.I.P.) They defeated the PitBulls in their debut at Hardcore Heaven 95 and later joined Raven's Nest after the PBs turned face that same night. Buh Buh Ray Dudley debuted in late October/early November 1995. D-Von debuted at Hostile City Showdown 96.
