It would be nice if you could do a video on budget HAM stations, lower end radios that work okay or what to look for at a HAM fest, some of us don't have to much cash to start up.
@rooftopeagle Field day is coming up soon, June 26th. Find a local club in your area and at the very least go check it out and see some radios and see how people have stuff setup. Its a great day to be out there and see people's field setups and maybe even get on a radio and have someone guide you through a contact
@KC2UOO Thanks K2FR I'm located in Canada so I'm not sure if the field day is the same here as the ARRL field day. I'll look up the RAC (Radio Amateurs of Canada) field day to see when ours is, I hope to be licensed by field day, I'm not sure if it's possible. If not I'll make sure to be there next year! My first Club meeting is on the 10th of June.
You looked like I did... ONLY STATION WORKING @ Field Day site here in Jasper, AL Club call: W4WCA station. And they wonder WHY the club never gets much NOTICE?? Look for me as "N4EMP-1 Alpha in Alabama" possibly this year. QSL??
