  • I love how I can listen to Hip Hop and still appreciate the brilliance of this music where others may overlook it

  • The faces don't bother me. He's just feelin' the music, man. :)

  • Apparently, to the female mind, the sight of a guy doing 100 push ups, is far more attractive than the sight of this pianist, playing this beautifully .... that's why I do not understand women and their thinking ... I do not understand it, and have given up trying to ... bad design? you bet! either mine, or theirs ..

  • @Byron10301 are you kidding? you must know some really non-intellectual women... I'd take him over some jock any day, I think a lot of us girls would say the same!

  • @lmfviolet78 I'm afraid girls with a taste like yours are rare ... If you are listening to Mozart on youtube, that already makes you rare enough, wouldn't you say? ... This piece of composition is INCREDIBLY super-human in every way ... it was uploaded in 2008 ... it only has 150,000 views .... Rebecca bla .... [sigh]

  • @Byron10301 oh it's heartbreaking. well, if this had 5 million views, then we would know it was being taken for granted. but luckily, if you look in the right places, there are most definitely still some of us out there who know what good music is!

  • @Byron10301 That's some self righteous, "manly man" right there. First generalization of genders, than this thinking of one self with higher and better taste. I hope for a better future. Minds like yours are hard to change, I hope your kind will die out like racism.

  • @WicyMJ I'm not going permit myself to be distracted from the great music any-more from this.

  • Pianist looks like he's about to cum!

  • Definitivamente (NMHO), este é O concerto para piano. Imaginem se ele tivesse vivido até os 50...

  • HOW ON EARTH can someone deslike? lol

  • to me this is artistically and musically helpless.

  • Mozart Piano concertos as a body of work are unsurpassed to this day, the later stuff is a constant delight, continually brilliant and in the right hands truly moving.

  • @murfkaka Hahah so true

  • @murfkaka The pianist is excellent, but I prefer the brilliance of a Steinway

  • Where is this being performed? Is it the Belevedere, the Hoburg or Schoenbruen?

  • murfkaka@: You sort of wonder, don't you? Still, the sound is the most important thing.

  • The pianist histrionics are indeed a bit over the top, but we must realize the concert audience doesn't have the benefit of close ups. It could be like the exaggerated make up used in stage plays.

  • a young Beethoven took the baton from Mozart and invented Romanticism.

  • Ah, a taste of his Divertimento in F at about 2:42-2:50, KV 138.

  • @murfkaka Don't be crass.

  • Mozart's last.......It's hard to listen without wanting to cry.

  • Mozart's last piano concerto...he certainly went out with a bang.

  • Rarely does one see such expression in a musician. It does justice to the exquisite beauty of Mozart.

  • bellisimo...........oh mozart.....

  • O_o I can't believe how similar your comment is to the one I posted under another piano concerto ... Are you a girl? we might be potentially THE perfect couple with similar ways of thinking! (but I already know you're a guy ... :(

  • Am I the only one that thinks this concerto has a kind of haunting melody in the background kind of fighting with the happy melody but in a perfect unison? It's really eery regarding the fact that it was to be his last piano concerto and he didn't even know it. Coincidence? This is haunting vs. happy is really visible at 0:03 - 0:12 and 8:01 - 8:12

  • I really do hate that face pulling crap. It's not only unecessary, it's also very pretentious. He could just as easily played it exactly the same without all that bullshit.

  • Extraodinaria interpretación de la orquesta y del pianista. Sólo con ver la apasionada forma en que interpreta, conmueve al espíritu!. Maravilloso!

  • My favorite piano concerto...very Mozartean. Autumnal, apparently simple...but in reality very layered and deep. Possibly the least technically challenging of all his concerti.

  • @murfkaka That's not how most guys look when they orgasm. They usually look as if they're in agony!

  • Mozart is a Wizard.

  • Em que mundo sonhava Mozart enquanto compunha este poema sinfônico?

  • @ZemArte I don't know.

  • You can really tell how the Romantic period was beginning to come into play. It just doesn't sound like Mozart as much as you get past No.23. You know what I mean?

  • Figaro Figaro Figaro!!! n.n

  • I have never seen a pianoist so dramadict as he is , but he good

  • BRAVO SASHA!

  • Mozart was really amazing for his time.... but it all seems much too pristine for a lummox like me!!! The perfection of the composition is killing me!! Why couldn't he just compose something a bit less... calculating? =(

  • I don't really understand what you mean NemoP. Mozart is famous for having simplicity and emotion in his songs. I would hardly call this calculating.

  • This music is only apparently simple... it displays an enormous power of control, sophistication and planning of form, themes, harmony and textures. That does not mean that the results are unmusical or rigid, of course. On the contrary, this is one of the most melodic, lovely, melancholic and enjoyable concertos by Mozart. Intellect adorned by beauty, beauty strengthened by intellect. That was his secret, really...

  • @bersa888 Just fantastic, really....

  • @paulatreides123 also because of perfection n_n

  • You should have dubbed yourself 'EmoProkofiev'

  • I think I would like to just hear the audio of this one.

It is somewhat distracting seeing the pianist feign a very

prolonged orgasm during performance. Who does he

think he is, the Aga Kahn?

  • you should see him performing nowdays. He doesn't move a centimetre!

  • @JureGorucan True. It's just great to watch him play. Just saw him play the Rachmaninoff Cello sonata (with Louise Hopkins). Superb. Never ever heard it so well balanced with the cello (on a concert grand, lid open wide), so true to the text, so devoid of attention-drawing or display or misplaced rubati or whatever "effects" are common in even great pianists. Such beautiful timbres. Here's a pianist who wins me for "piano" in a cello sonata!!

  • he loves himself its so marvelous...

  • is the pianist fornicating with the piano :O

  • I absolutely love music. But that pianist is enjoying himself way WAY too much.

  • @wearethearchers

If that's what it takes to produce this wonderful music than good luck to him.

our captain played this piece of music on reconnaissance mission thru our ear piece as a navy diver to keep us calm while we made our way thru brown water riddled with explosives.

  • @ 5:43 it looks like he has to sneeze!

  • That's right WAVE IT MAN!!

  • _LOL_

  • Madzar's New K.595

    with SPO conduct by

Myung-Whun Chung uploaded by ytcrescent ^_^

  • perhaps chocolate ice cream.

found this recommendation from Ilya Gringolts.

  • he's got to have a womens magazine or SOMETHING down there :L

  • c est horrible ça! Dès que l on connait Géza Anda ou Alfred Brendel, on peut à peine accepter une autre interprétation, pourtant ici il n y a meme pas d interprétation.

C est dur, sec et sans esprit. dommage!

  • You've no idea what you're talking about

  • He's French, thinking it's horrible... L O L

  • das ist furchtbar! wenn man Géza Anda und Alfred Brendel

dieses Konzert hat spielen hören, geht fast nichts anderes mehr- aber das hier ist wirklich lieblos und total am stück vorbei-

  • he plays like a true pianist and he has the feelings good on him

beautiful piece from a man hu knw wat art was

    MOZART

  • Madzar?

  • Undoubtedly he is playing here very well. However, the

fact that the music sounds very static, and Mozart is endlessly far from being static!, means that the performance lacks something. It's really sadistic to play the essence of music just formally. Eh, right, the tone quality is good, but is that all there to be??!

  • P.S It's not from the tempo!

P.P.S and I don't mind him swooning or doing whatever he likes, as long as the sound is not damaged...

  • I agree.

  • He looks like he's having the wank of his life down there.

  • Love this piece, beautiful:)

  • For heaven's sake, how can this man make such sublime sounds at the piano while swooning about like a dying swan? I can't watch him.

  • I think I prefer Casadesus' recording...although Backhaus is a great interpretation.

  • His piano playing is just perfection... I'm learning this at the moment and i hope to one day play it as well as this, unlikely though! :)

  • brilliant!

The pianist is good! but looks funny when he's playing lol

    10/10

  • Lovely music

  • I think 1st movement Casadesus with Szell plays better.. but in the 3rd Madzar creates miracle. He is a wonderful pianist{especially if you dont look at him}

  • Have you heard Anda's?

  • Have you heard Backhaus and Bohm work magic in this music?

  • It's unbelievable... I watched this videos on air TV 15-20 years ago... for those who still remember what I'm talking about, I made every effort to got these TV shows recorded on VHS but, well... in 20 years many things can happen to some old VHS tapes.... I thought I never could watch this concert again, until now.

    Thank you uploader.

    Thank you.

    Thank you.

    Thank you.

  • Mozart...greatest genius ever. Your music have so many hidden qualities.

  • LOL !

  • murfkaka, you ruined my life! I can't stop laughing when I look at the pianist face :)))

  • hahahahahahah =P

  • so true...

  • What a shame!!!...he's really a good musician!!

  • No, he isnt.

The conductor is good, but the pianist is not!

  • My dear..I'm a pianist too. so, be carful BEFORE giving your opinions. He is a good pianist!...ON MY OPINION, ok? as well as the conductor is. Can you "teach" me why he is not a good pianist?...and do NOT forget I've studied with Zecchi, Lepore, Murano, Agosti...ok?

  • lol)))

  • Previn is an excellent pianist, but I wasn't really impressed with his cadenza for mozart piano concerto no.24. It sounds more like Hummel Cadenza rearranged by Previn. In other words, it's not so original, it takes too many ideas from Hummel's cadenza.

  • The part 7:40-7:50 makes me want to cry; It reminds me of music from the Romantic period. Just imagine what kind of music Mozart would have composed if only he lived 20-30 years longer...The sad thing is we will never hear what could have been.

  • So's the guy on the piano by the looks of it lol. Like the way he swayed.. so funny..

  • @Am4d3usM0z4rt Mozart's from the Classical Period and not Romantic Period. You are right, I also want him to still be here to this generation and continue writing music. Such a sad case that he died really young at the age of 35. His music lives on!

  • @Am4d3usM0z4rt I agree completely. I was going to post that this section of music was probably the most beautiful ever written. It's sublime beyond words. It's like Mozart saw Heaven and stole a piece and put it into music for people to experience for hundreds of years.

  • @Am4d3usM0z4rt What he left made what followed possible - The classical style that he perfected is beautiful in its own right.

  • @Am4d3usM0z4rt Maybe we did hear what would have been when Beethoven arrived in Vienna just as Mozart passed away...... That fact comforts me somehow.

  • @Am4d3usM0z4rt That's one way to look at it - I prefer to be happy that he lived at all, regardless of how long for :p

  • Mozart himself would give a 5 stars!

  • Remarkably sensitive - mature Mozart- mature performance. Love it.

  • i hate comments u all SUCK

  • Technically excellent; another Uchida with the facial movements, but not the soul of Periah or Barenboim

  • Nice song, where is the place?, looks like hooters (just kidding ;-) ) i love mozart

  • este video esta muy lindo este concierto mozart como siempre esta muy lindo con su musica porque la neta me conforta

  • ej fora ti video

  • its like he is in love!

  • He looks like he's really living every note here!

  • Yeah, he really in the mood! I mean, musical mood.

  • wow, no sheet music. that guys guuud.

  • Superb balance of forces. Perfect contrast of solo and tutti. Mozart as his most Apollonian serenity.

  • Ah mooooozart! - All these concertos are from "Mozart on Tour" hosted by Andre Previn and are all for sale. Wonderful!

  • that was scottish chamber orchestral

  • kom c mochee xd

  • 这一切真是太完美了。

  • ahh a true musician and chills at every cadenza from me and him
