Absolutely. Zimbabwe is leading the way. You should read the report "A New Start For Zimbabwe?" by prof. Ian Scoones, which is a study of the impact of land reform in Masvingo Province. Most food grown in for instance Zambia comes from land that is 5 hectares or smaller in size. The average (family) farm in the EU is 90 hectares in size.
Because of it's land reform program, Zimbabwe was massively retaliated against by the US, UK and even EU, and had it's currency destroyed by financial sanctions (ZDERA) in 2002, two years after the start of land reform. ZDERA instructed every US director of a financial institution to deny the Zimbabwean government credit, loans or loan rescheduling, and has done so for the last 8 years.
So if they can do all this without a national currency, imagine everything they can do with proper government support, and the right to export their produce. (Right now, there are bans on products from land from former white farmers as well as ZDERA.)
I cannot take any official criticism of Zimbabwe seriously if they do not acknowledge the credit freeze that was put on Zimbabwe in 2002 and is still there.

Namibia does not need anyone's aid, it is one of the world's main exporters of diamonds. The government needs to be paid the market price for those diamonds, the value of which is far greater than any 'donor aid'. And of course, tax revenues come with no strings attached.

Namibia and South Africa are even in greater need of land reform than South Africa was. In Zimbabwe,4500 white farmers owned nearly 50% of the land. In South Africa, 40,000 own 87% of the land. I don't know the stats for Namibia, but they had a genocide and their own apartheid system after coming under South African rule.

Absolutely. Zimbabwe is leading the way. You should read the report "A New Start For Zimbabwe?" by prof. Ian Scoones, which is a study of the impact of land reform in Masvingo Province. Most food grown in for instance Zambia comes from land that is 5 hectares or smaller in size. The average (family) farm in the EU is 90 hectares in size.

Because of it's land reform program, Zimbabwe was massively retaliated against by the US, UK and even EU, and had it's currency destroyed by financial sanctions (ZDERA) in 2002, two years after the start of land reform. ZDERA instructed every US director of a financial institution to deny the Zimbabwean government credit, loans or loan rescheduling, and has done so for the last 8 years.

The problem isn't 'who is the real African', the problem is that the old apartheid/colonial economy needs to be overhauled. These whites think they can go on living as if apartheid was still in place.
What is needed is an end to these estates, and the introduction of the family farm. That is the only way that land and wealth can be redistributed over the general population, and a generally middle class society can be built.

The average farm in Zimbabwe before landreform was 2500 hectares. In South Africa, it is 1350 hectares. In the EU: 90 hectares. That is what Southern Africa needs to get to.

Namibia, South Africa, Zimbabwe and Kenya were designated 'white man's country', and subsequently, the people who lived in specific areas were forced off their land, without receiving compensation.
The land has to return to the people so it can be farmed PROPERLY. Right now, most of it lies fallow because whites simply have too much of it to farm it all.

This discussion is so useless. No one of those farmers actually is interest in the LAND, but for an opportunity to have a living. If they just want money, they would not be in Namibia but in Europe. Note: Farming is a shit, tough job. This is why no one in Europe or the US wants to do it any more. Kick all those farmers out and no one will substitute them. What will happen to the land afterwards? Look at SA and Zimbabwe, non-used. Great: All are worth or no one is better off at the end.

one of the first non-afrikaaner white farmers in namibia ive ever seen, certainly the first german colonialist i've ever seen, full stop. which is strange as it stands to reason that there should be more germans in namibia, as an ex-german colony since 1918.
