NHL needs a better team customization system, more logos, custom team names, locations, stadiums and other things like that. It should be more like how the team customization is in NCAA football games are, pretty much fully custom to what you want.

@burn2own You hold L2 and bring your right stick to the 5 for left handers and 7 for right handers. You have to hold the right stick in that position for it to do that.

i think it sucks cuz you need to hold the pass button much longer if you dont want your pass to be slow as hell....and i always got hit before passing....and since 09, fuckin body checks suck, as a D i always pass next to the player when tryin to hit him in my zone....and when i miss that hit, the motherfucker almost always put it in the net....so now i dont bother tryin to hit, i just move backward tryin to poke check.....in that game if your last D get beaten its almost always a goal...

EA always "misses" things like diving calls (which is what it looks like every time someone is tripped,) and in NHL 11, people are getting away with hitting from behind and boarding constantly. The game is too slow, definately not the speed of an NHL game. Passes never connect, always go right to the othe team's stick. ...and before you say something, I'm talking about this happenin when I'm playing on OTP, so it happens to everyone.

Game is great if u know what your doing. Thought they got rid of left trigger whip shots, curve shots, slapshot glitch, and every damn puck hitting the cross bar or post and going in! @SouthSho450 well when your dude is open and you press L2 the computer puck carrier is more likely to pass it to you. but if you press the pass button wich is R2 when you dont have the puck, the computer while automaticaly pass it to you even if your not open at all. i get mad when the goalie has the puck and then a stupid winger calls when at his blue line, the puck goes slowly in the slot, very dangerous play. it never happen to you ?

great video ... but wha ti really want is for you to do a tutorial on deking system ... i found this years deke system to be horrid ... 360s slow your movement so no point in doing them anymore ... loose puck dekes dont work 90% of the time that they would in nhl 10 ...

I would love it if Andrew Johnson could do a detailed deke video showing when and how to do the basic dekes and then another video for more advanced dekes.

@drfirewater Have you ever played really hockey? Spinning a 360 slows you down, Also if you watch the NHL loose puck dekes dont happen every 2 minutes. This years whol thing was to make it as realistic as ever. The only thing they needed to do a bit better is the game speed they made it just a little bit too slow, But as long as you know how to pass the puck PROPERLY and i say it like that cus lots of kids dont you dont even notice the game speed.

If your good on your skates its easy to do a 360 past someone who is going backward ... it doesnt slow you down if your not flat on your skates ... use a toe step and you can do round the back 360 deke with almost no slow down at all.

loose puck dekes happen more in todays NHL then they did in the 80s and 90s .. alot of people trying to do it all on there own to get some the attention OV and Crosby are getting for dangling. This is a finesse game now .. not a roughneck sport.

@drfirewater The point is when you pull a 360 you do slow down the only time you beat the guy skating backwards if when he either lunges in to poke check or when he jumps in to hit you and you make him miss, dosent matter if your sidney crosby your not going to skate straight at the D spin a 360 while he continues to skate backwards and excelerate around the guy. same in the game when you spin if the guy keeps skating backwards and dosent bite on the fake then you dont beat him but if he is

@drfirewater coming in to hit ya and you spin ya beat him inside then ya toe drag the goalie ya dig, Then when it comes to loose puck dekes I wouldnt say they are used more often then in the 80's and 90's what about Bure, and Gretzky, Theo etc Tons of players constantly used them game in and game out the difference now is they happen maybe 5 times a game succesfully the rest are small quick dekes so that you can use your speed to your advantage and get around the guy.
