When I was a kid, one of the boys on my block who was a toddler used to have trouble pronouncing words, especially anything starting with an f. His father loved to fish and when we asked him his father's hobby to our delight he would say, "Bitching". Of course we'd all giggled and ask him what was in the kitchen for dinner and he'd smile and say, "bitches". Maybe the doll (or it's creator) has a similar lisp. :-)
