VERY GOOD composed. How do you add reverb & other efx? I got a wonderful J G, I've not had many problems recording in real time though I had difficulty adding keeping efx. Can you give me tips on how to add effects please? I understand there's 3 efx proseccors & the same effect can be added to other tracks. I've had trouble adding seperate reverb/chorus to each track after recording. Can you post a video of how to do the above for other Juno G users. Cheers from Rich
Hey man nice going , how did you manage to get the recording menu up . i cant find it could u show or tell me how to load up the record a song thing it would really help me thanks
@Danmg192 First you go to Perform mode of the Juno-G and select 063 Seq: Template. Press song and select your (different ) instruments. Press Record and Start (select tempo and click). If you are satisfied with your song press shift / write and save Song + Samples. I understand why you ask, the Roland Juno-G Userguide is a complete disaster.
Hi there, thanx! I don't know the answer to your question, but I know someone who can and helped me a lot with discovering the possibilities of the Juno G: It's Peter Schreurs from Roland Central Europe (Belgium) tel 0032 - 14 - 575811.
You could ask his email adress, saves you high telephone-costs :)
2 completely different products. Juno-G is a pretty complete workstation for all kind of sounds inc. audio & midi sequencing. The SH-201 is a VA synth and not the best as well (Juno-G has great electronic sounds!). You would also need a sequencer like Cubase to save your songs with the 201. Go for the Juno-G if this your first real synth.
Thanks for the comment Mike!....hope you're having fun in your home country.
I uploaded Mission and Tom Sawyer keyboards only (I think take II is the better one), and I am practising between the wheels.....bought a new keyboard last week ( a second Roland Juno-G. I no longer like the sound of my old Roland Juno 106 (the above keyboard on my videos), ....so I have double possibilities now.
Happy New Year !
....can't wait to hear Mission etc. with the full band!
Okey?I have been in This Business longer than you might know. When i wrote "Keyboards",i meant Keyboards in general-not a specific brand.I might teach you something about Roland, and that they started up with the Money they Got for the Ace Organ Company! Like The Ace GT7,Became the Hammond X5 Later on.
So,Hammond Bought Ace,and They Started Roland in 1972.They wanted to have a European Sounding Name on the Company, easy to say here in the west.
I just read the rather silly comment of lavaka, and clearly didn't understand your comment about Italian cars and keyboards. How's The Lambo? (I still think you should just keep it)....check out my latest project "virtuallyrush" and let me know what you think of it.
Tried to explain the Connection Hammond-Roland.Roland would not exist if Hammond hadnt bought the ACE company, wich was the Former "Roland" Company. They started in 1972.
The Lamborghini Espada stands in the winter Garage. We are doeing some service also on it.
Thanks for the comment! Yes all effects are internal and I have no extra sound banks. What you hear is pure JUNO-G. The only thing I expanded is the Memory (now 512 MB) so I can record Audio Tracks and make my own CD-recordings.
The song is based on "Love to Love" theme of UFO.
well done man!

@bestrickie2 I have an external digital reverb from Alesis, cause I was not satisfied with the internal Juno-G reverb.

Hi, good song!
Do you know how i can control external synth with juno-g without playing juno-g's part in same time with that ext synth?
Tried to set volume to 0 from part mixer but then external module sound isn't heard anymore too:(
User manual doesnt tell it to me how to solve that problem.
Thanks if you can help!

Oh boy.. I can't decide... Sh-201 or Juno-G?
Wich one is better for less experienced?
I'm also convinced that i should buy sh-201, but i don't know if juno-g would be a better decision..

Juno G is a workstation, s=while i believe the Sh-201 is Analouge inspired, depends on what exactly u want

well i got sh-201, it's lovely, but it's not enough... I think i'm going to buy waldorf blofeld for it..
I have a sequencer, but i should get a better one (cubase is good one)... I have sony acid.
I'm tired of messing with sample-cd's, you can't always get what you were looking for and i need drums! (gonna get spd-s or spd-20).

More than 800, and yes you can edit them.
Good luck and ask your local store for a demonstration.
