You can kill the knight at the first bonfire. He's really hard though. If you get him at the edge you can have him roll off or knock him off for 1000 souls

you need to buy short bow and 150 arrows and the heat shield from merchant. 100% block chance very important. And arrow can easily take out guys in high places. Very useful

@MrMistasmith i know u posted this question a long time but yes you can. you have to ring two bells and at the begining where the crow drops you off go to that water place at the right n should see some monster sleeping. (hope this helps) XD

Also, I don't know how much is skipped between part 6 and part 7, but I think you missed a turn somewhere in the area. You should be able to progress further... (and you'll probably want to)
