  • Oozes funk and energy right to your ear, nice.

  • WOW, I can't believe i missed this one from all those years ago - i have all the albums but this is on a par with anything from EOPE. High times, oh yeah :0

  • O hey tavros

  • love it

  • This and Just Another Story sound like Funk in the Hole by Roy Ayers.

  • @CommonBlahBlah Thanks for the hint!

  • @ophone77 No prob. When playing GTA IV back in 2008/2009 lol, Funk in the Hole started playing I was like Just Another Story sounds like this lol.

  • This still sounds so "The return of the Space Cowboy"!!!

    PERFECT!

  • Música maravilhosa!!! Entorpece a mente!!! Instrumental perfeito!!! Valeu Jay!!!

  • The guitar riff or piano riff sounds like the riff from Just Another Story

  • Hail Jamiroquai! True music<3

  • can i download it from somewhere?

  • This song featured on Zenders myspace for a long time. So I guess Jay Kay has got nothing to do with it. (I really hope so aswell)

  • wich album is this from?

  • @GNRWoody From Virtual insanity Single

  • @GNRWoody ORIGINALLY IT WAS RELEASED ON THE VINYL IMPORT CONTAINING: VIRTUAL INSANITY, DO YOU KNOW WHERE YOU'RE COMING FROM (ORIGINAL), BULLET & VIRTUAL INSANITY (ALBUM VERSION)

  • 3 people got funked to death

  • i love the start, the rest is very soothing too ^_^

  • I would love it if the band got together without Jaykay to make an album like the old stuff.

  • @gerisboyle Dont forget that Jay Kay was the composer... I mean, Jay Kay surely has done 75% of the composing work

  • @OmegaBassArg

You having a laugh? The first three albums are the best and the reasons are simple. Zender and Toby were there, Jay Kay is nothing without them. They'd do fine, like very fine.

  • @Probot4 Jay Kay was the composer. The other guys helped, too. Where is zender now? playing "toxic" from britney spears with some shitty singer

  • @OmegaBassArg ROOH, Omar etc.....Atleast he's not making a fool of himself like Jay Kay is :)

Oh yeah Warwick gave him a signature bass aswell.

  • @gerisboyle There is no Jamiroquai without Jay Kay, so getting the original band back together without him to create retro Jamiroquai stuff wouldn't work. Even though he can't play any instruments, Jay composes the lionshare of the melodies you hear. Also, there are several new songs on the Rock Dust Light Star that hearken back to the loose, jam band-ish type playing that was presented on their first 3 albums. And with those few songs, I'm more than satisfied with the results.

  • @xXxsweetiebooxXx

I know what I said was slightly blasphemous. I take it back. Im gonna go check out those 3 songs now.

  • Purely simply awesome

  • Never heard these b sides tracks. Man any new J is a blessing. Not only is he the coolest, he's consistently cool

  • Simply amazing ...

  • I heard there are very faint lyrics in this song, but I can't hear 'em!

  • @longhornhiphop

I can, unless that was a joke

  • Whoa! great tune!

  • Jamiroquai it's not a band, it's not any kind of music, Jamiroquai it's a state of mind, it's one of that essential things that you need everyday. I love Jamiroquai. =P

  • @GABOMAN742 false, it IS music

  • Jamiroquai it's not a band, it's not music. It's a STATE OF MIND. That's why i love his guys. =P

  • Wow!! Another new theme for me. It's a masterpiece!! So smart and sexy too!!!

  • Very underrated track. At 3 minute mark the chord changes are CRAZY! Those remind me of The Beach Boys, kind of.

  • 'Bullet' is, without a doubt, their best B side and should've been included in the TWM album. The instrumentation is the finest since the early 80's funky jazz. It's a gem of a song, you can listen to every instrument separated and everything you hear just clicks. Hopefully 'Rock Dust Light Star' returns to this kind of music.

  • Most music today stops at your ears whereas Jamiroquai found a way straight into your mind.

  • @ryder133 wow, deep and true, i hear you man.

  • Dope!!!

  • very cool track, that is why they are great making this style of music, jay kay is also a cool dancer, or should i say he knows how to move

  • This is Stuart's, I found it on his myspace page... Solid bass line, this deserves more views, and I wish he'd come back to the band to get their classic sound back.

    -Bayou

P.S, Stuart, if you're reading this, I'm playing along right now.

  • I can't even close my mouth right now.......AMAZED!!!!!!!

  • amazing

  • New album's out in September ladies & gents. Peace.

  • pure jamiroquai... and live he is so so awsome..<3

  • I love it!!!!!

  • ^o^ One of my favourite Jamiroquai instrumental melodies.

  • huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa BULLET IN MY MIND!

  • esta cancion no es just another story?

  • En efecto, de hecho contine un sample de Just Another Story, es más, Bullet hace referencia al estribillo de Just Another Story "a bullet in the head is a lesson learned"... :D

  • Mistery? What mistery? No mistery here, this song was made by all band members around 1996, Stu, Jay, Toby, Derrick, Sola, Katz and the the brass guys. But some guy just erased Jay´s voice out of it. There are some samples of live versions of this somewhere here on the tube with Jay singing. Besides I think that one of the last interviews in 2009 Derrick said it was his favorite Jamiroquai tune.

  • I think their instrumental Slipin' n' Slidin' is even better.

  • Мне понравилось как Человекобык говорит всем молча: Пуля.

    хорошая композиция

  • wow this is awesome!, the second best Instrumental by Jamiroquai, only being overtaken slightly by Music of the Mind.

  • zender rocks he's the best

  • Man this is just awesome-This is what Jamiroquai are all about-absolutely excellent-No acid jazz band compares!!!

  • I just noticed that there are lyrics to this song... you can hear Jay saying stuff faintly in the background.

  • I thought I knew ALL the Jamiroquai jams till I start messing around on Youtube...you mean to tell me now I gotta go search for the Virtual Insanity single so I can have the audio of this jam??? lol

  • me too man! I own their back catalogue and then found out about all these b-sides/rare tracks :P kinda good, but bad too since ive gotta go searching now lol

  • if you wanna be a true fan..there is a downloadprogram called free youtube mp3 converter. just download the songs, change their names, and you can add more than 40 more tracks (thats all ive found so far including remixes) Enjoy the hunt!

  • Good luck, lol!

  • This is an awesome instrumental. Really some of these classic jamiro tracks around here should have at least 100K views...

Jamiroquai never fails to amaze me.

  • Absolutely true!!!!! Jamiroquai are one of the most amazing bands! So much talent and soul! just wow...

  • @ryder133

You're right, I have all 7 albums plus the compilations and thought I'd heard all of their tracks but I forgot about B sides. This, and "Getinfunky" Are just ace!

  • @ryder133 Almost there!

  • Dude as a matter of fact you´re wrong. Listen the first 30 seconds carefully with quality headphones and you will hear Jay singing. This was made somewhere between Travelling without moving and Synkronized, just before zender left. But Stuart was very unfair putting this tune in his Myspace under his name. Besides if you would know Jamiroquai you would immediately recognize Toby at the keyboards

  • @Breezeaired Wow, at first i couldnt hear it. :S but now i listened to it again! Indeed, u can hear it if u listen very carefully. I wonder what the lyrics would be like :D Who the hell muted the singing :(

  • Definitely NOT. What the hell are YOU saying?

Talking about the bassline : i was talking about the theme bassline of course.. the great Stu is in here!

  • Thanks for your information!!

  • Super nice!!!

  • sounds like just another story, might a be a sort of b-side or followup

  • It was the b-side to Virtual Insanity

  • niceeeeeeeeeeeeeee

  • his track they also used to combine Virtual Insanity on during live performances

  • It isn't on any album, it was the B-side of the Cosmic Girl Single.

  • It's on virtual insanity single.

It's a mistery who wrote this song..definitely not Stu alone. Somebody say that was a sample from "the return of the space cowboy" sessions.. more in the detail a sample/intro of "just another story" . BTW seems a typical writing on two hands by the geniuos of Toby and Jason. In fact the bassline it's all on sinth by Toby . Great song, one of my favourite . Thanks for this,Jamiro.

  • The bass is real it isn't a sinth by toby

  • Yeah ,I had correct myself after the other post. Only the first intro is on sinth.

  • @manueldefalla87

Dummy, it's Stuart Zender's, it's even on his myspace page under HIS music.

  • @BayouSnipera this is a classic jamiroquai track which was created in the year 1996 with ALL the band. it is on the vitual insanity Single ...by the way Stuart was one of the writers of the song

  • @BayouSnipera

Idiot, myspace of Stu is automatically 100% written only by Staurt?? You are dummy and idiot, cograts.

From a bio: "Bullet" is probably one of the most mysterious Jamiroquai tracks ever written. The song starts with a 3-second percussion intro, and switches into a longer, very claustrophobic introduction. During this part, very faint vocals can be heard in the background, while the melody progresses.

  • @manueldefalla87

...I don't think you get to describe this song, or call me dummy, when you can't tell the difference between a synth bass, and a real one.

That's just me though.. Have fun with your copy-paste block-format clusterfuck of text.

  • @BayouSnipera

The vocals remained shrouded in a veil of mystery, until recently, after a fan did some "research" on the song. [1] The broken lyrics seem to have been printed out by accident in a misprint of the booklet of the band's second album, The Return of the Space Cowboy.

  • @BayouSnipera It should also be noted that the musical structure of the "long intro" to "Bullet" bears very heavy resemblance to the one of "Just Another Story", from The Return of the Space Cowboy and it could be a possible faint remix of Just Another Story and/or a faint sample of Just Another Stor

  • @manueldefalla87 Not A Bass Synth!

  • 0:42 ahhh gimme a shot

  • What are you talking about?

  • give me something to get high :)

  • anyone knows how/where to download this track? so hard to find (headache) lol

  • use a youtube mp3 converter

  • Haven't heard this one before, and I thought I had it all. This is awesome! Any word about their next album?

  • no not atm if u wanna check the jamiroquai news on google type in jamiroquai then scroll down on to the funkin website or page it says it tells u everything! since 1996 to now all the news!

  • This is soo funky!!

    Just perfect!! ;D

  • Wonderful!!!!!!!

  • absolute perfect funk and jazz=Jamirquai

  • Just good ol' fashioned funk

  • uber fantastic

  • rhythm section is tighter then camel toe to a varigna

  • jamiroquai single handededly revived and redefined funk music. Amazing first 3 albums.

  • Maybe I'm crazy but what band is better than Jamiroquai? Okay, okay, probably Steely Dan but that's it!

  • Lol. Just messing with you dude. Steely Dan is badass but nothing can compare to the almighty Jamiroquai.

  • Apples-to-oranges comparrison I suppose...

  • Comment removed

  • It could also be like a Simply Red track, something along the lines of their smooth track "Jericho"

  • I LOVE Steely Dan, but even they can't compare to the great Jamiroquai!

  • Apples-to-oranges comparrison I suppose...

  • is the nice song make me feel so good is nasty but sweet si jamiroquai in vneezuela so good the best

  • Du hast recht es klingt wie Black Capricorn Day.STRABFREAK is right it sounds like Black Capricorn Day.

  • this song is really hard to come by! you should put more stuff on tags!!! this song would go so well with just another story, or it's lyrics along with this beat. good find for me . . .

  • Fuckin' Brilliant

  • thats pretty cool

  • its from the album TWM,it was an extra hidden track, mainly from the uk album release, the release in the states did not get this track! we got do u know where we coming from..

  • This song is like Butterfly in lots of ways... go compare:P

  • A part of it sounds like the beginning of "Just Another Story"

  • 1:19 - 1:39 really like, very ecstatic 20 seconds

  • 110% agreed...totally feel you on that.

  • Dieser Song hört sich wie Black Capricorn Day an. - This Song sounds like Black Capricorn Day.

  • yeah,i note too

  • wonderful!!!!

  • they use the bridge on this song as the intro for virtual insanity during the synkronzed era gigs

  • @gonxalito: This song has never been played on stage but I agree to you.The Song is very funky.

@naza220: Where did you get this rare file?
