I think what amazed me is that despite him not having gone thru this experience nor understand it (he asked the songwriter why he had to let the girl go), he was able to convey the emotions of this song. i have a question.what is the difference between lead vocals and main vocals?i have searched in google about it but still did'nt understand.some said that lead vocals is only one person that are very good in singing, main vocals is more than one such as yesung-lead vocals. yesung,kyuhyun,ryeowook,sungmi­n-main vocals.

some also said that lead vocals is more than one while main vocals only one.ex. yesung-main vocals. yesung, kyuhyun,ryeowook,sungmin-lead vocals.

i'm really confused.

Well I asked this question before and this what my friend told me:

Lead Vocals in this case it's "Yesung" : one person in the group and they are the best singers and mostly have the challenging parts and the heavier singing duty ( that's why even though he's the best he don't get many part's) and they mostly are the higher pitched among the group.

Main Vocals in this case "Kyuhyun, Ryeowook and Sungmin": can be more than one in a group and they sing the main vocal portion of the song and usually take care of the chorus (that's why they sing the most).

Lead vocals are usually used for those in the group whom not only sings more (or sing e main melody), but they also do backups. you can hear their voices more frequently in the songs. Main vocals, usually means they sing the main parts (melody). like in choirs, main vocals are usually 2nd sopranos, alto, 1st sorpranos, tenors will sing the hamonious part

So that means that Kyuhyun will sing song and Yesung will sing " in background" following Kyuhyun's singing.Actually, main vocal is lead by lead vocals.Without lead vocal song seems to be empty.If it's only one singer,then he will probably sing as a main vocal but he would have choir or he will record his own voice and put it in the background.For great song you need amazing lead vocal and good main vocal! actually, the lead vocal of Super Junior is Yesung, Ryeowook, and Kyuhyun. It's not only Yesung. And that's why this 3 people (Kyuhyun, Yesung, Ryeowook) is in one sub-group that names Super Junior K.R.Y. it's because they 3 have a very nice voice. But i still didn't understand too what is the different between main vocal and lead vocal..

Just want to tell you that the LEAD vocal is not just Yesung, but also Kyuhyun and Ryeowook
