i would get it if the cat was a persian or another breed of long haired cats (i owned a persian and we had to give her baths once a month to keep her fur clean and without burros) because tey can't clean themselves fully and special shampoo and such is needed for a good grooming session. I would understand it if the cat had gotten something smelly on her or something, but that woman is washing her with normal shampoo which is harmful for the cat's fur and skin.

i would get it if the cat was a persian or another breed of long haired cats (i owned a persian and we had to give her baths once a month to keep her fur clean and without burros) because tey can't clean themselves fully and special shampoo and such is needed for a good grooming session. But that is just stupid. I would understand it if the cat had gotten something smelly on her or something, but that woman is washing her with normal shampoo which is harmful for the cat's fur and skin.

@misschloeleanne If you had half a brain cell you woudl think before you type, ask any vet bathing a cat isnt cruelty nor is it abuse. cat do no need to be washed often but do sometime require a wash soem times when they have fleas etc. it is not need often to bathe a cat do you really think vets would sell cat flea shampoo if it was abusive or harmful to the animal? yes this video i agree it isnt nescessary to bathe the cat but think before you mouth off.

First, this cat seemed to be clean! If she really was dirty it was dirt she could have cleaned herself. For me it seems that these people just for fun and without any real Reason decided to gave the cat a shower!
Second, you should have used cat shampoo, normal shampoo can be like poison if it's not perfect washed out.
Third, how stupid to use a hairdryer! Just use a towel
