while Kratos can acquire the utilities used by the enemies he defeats, i think there should be a GoW game where he is able to recall the souls of those he has conquered and essentially take on their bodies....something like, the Gods do not die, being regenerated/reborn, yadda yadda yadda, and he could stop this regeneration by seeking their boxes or tombs that have been hidden by someone and virtually absorb the regenerative powers...just a thought >:D

In God of War 2, you could play as Hercules. If you think about it, you can see some of the similarities of what Hercules did with Kratos (i.e.: kill the hydra, when you meet Atlas, he's pissed off at you, the golden fleece, etc.). That's when I thought, "You know, it would be kick ass if Kratos faced Hercules!"
