I used to play this game on the Commodore 64 here in the USA. Not sure if it was imported from Europe or not, but at least the game existed outside of Japan in some form.
@RocMegamanX Although this game is tagged as an NES game technically it never saw the light of day in the United States or Europe. Instead this game was only released in the Japanese market for the famicom system which was also made by Nintendo. In order to help gamers the NES tag gets added quite often on this site.
