  • shame auckland cops aint as good

  • I now am aware of how important communication is in the police industry. It's paramount that comms and other units are well informed stage by stage of each event.

  • Do they have digital yet?? Can we still listen to em??

  • @90sideways

You can still hear them in CHCH.

  • oh so the yellow fags are the ones that pull everyone over for pretty much nothing?

  • This makes me sick. The New Zealand police are out of control. Another young lady has crashed into a 52 year old killing her. She was being chased by police in Blenheim!! They think they are playing video games. Instead they are murdering innocent people. Bloody children!!

  • @SugarTomAppleRoger i would like to see you doing their job.

  • @examinationboard Sure. I wouldn't be so arrogant for starters. I would sooner let someone get away than cause a death. I guess that I wouldn't get a job in the police with that attitude anyway. They want boy racers - like in Top Gear.

  • @SugarTomAppleRoger Is this a joke?

  • @VideoReply No it's not. Given the horrenous incident that has just happened, it becomes all the more urgent that this problem be addressed. .

Police are out of order. I think all police chases in NZ should be stopped now. Do you realise that a whole quarter of them result in a crash?? The risks are unacceptable!

I am sick of this. I was here in New Zealand in 1978 and the same rubbish was happening. I have just come back to live here, and the police are still killing people.

  • @SugarTomAppleRoger Are you trolling me right now? Because if you are, you have succeeded. So then what's the point of having a check point? By your reasoning, if you're a drunk driver and don't want to get caught - do a u-turn right in front of the police checkpoint and drive off, you'll be sweet since they won't chase you in case you crash??? This is ridiculous, we'll just have more drunk drivers on the road killing people and the police won't be able to stop them

  • @VideoReply No I am not trolling you. Certainly not. I am absolutely opposed to this behaviour. I know that people like me are losing the argument, and it sickens me. The problem is that people in New Zealand are becoming more and more right wing. They think the police can do no wrong and that anyone who opposes them is a criminal. Do you know what it is like to be chased by expert drivers who have sirens and lights flashing? It must be terrifying.

The driving is bad in New Zealand anyway.

  • @SugarTomAppleRoger Do you think we should even have check points then?

  • @VideoReply I think we are talking a little at cross purposes here. I am concerned at high speed chases.

What are these checkpoints you are refering to for? Where are they located? These are important questions. Police are known to concentrate their efforts on harassing people in working class areas, asking for continual searches of persons and vehicles, and trying to arrest as many people as possible in these working class areas to keep up quotas.

  • @SugarTomAppleRoger I guess the moral of the story it "Don't have anything illegal on you, don't be drunk, don't do anything incredibly stupid" - that's the only way we can keep police quotas down. If the public weren't so stupid (in these "working class areas") - then the police wouldn't be able to arrest anyone. I have been caught speeding by the police before, and I fully deserved it - they were doing their job and I was doing something illegal - therefore I'm the idiot, not the police

  • @VideoReply What if you happen to live in a working class area? You are constantly harassed by police. The use probable cause to search anyone. If you refuse, the they will arrest you. If you even stay at home, they will search that. Police will say "we are doing a neighbourhood survey on crime in your area. We want to come in to see if your house is secure against break in. This is a pretext to gain entry to search the house. Once in, police will certainly find something.

  • @SugarTomAppleRoger are you drunk? The police don't march around neighbourhoods doing random house inspections with the idea of catching people out, they haven't got time for that type of nonsense. Unless they suspect you have drugs, they may have a search warrant. If they had a search warrant for my house, I would happily let them in to search, knowing I didn't have anything illegal. They are just doing their job to protect me and the public from harm. I don't understand your stance?

  • @VideoReply No. I am not drunk. It is a typical police response to accuse complainants of being drunk. Even though most people in NZ feel like you, it is only when they are from working class backgrounds, they see a different picture.

For example, if an old lady is at home in her house, and police search and find cannabis under her couch, they will brutally cuff her and arrest her. She is confused. The drugs were hidden there by local children who visit her house.

  • @VideoReply Working class people should know their rights. They should be advised by lawyers who are experts on how to tackle police harassment. The police are the enemy for lower class people, and they treat the workers as such also. Police are recruited from posh backgrounds, and will think of lower class and foreign people as lowlives anyway. You will not see cops prowling around St. Albans or conducting snatch raids there.

  • @SugarTomAppleRoger You seem to be the king of stereotyping - police are only aggressive when they need to be (as in, a huge Polynesian is about to throttle them with a knife) - maybe you're thinking of the common misconception with american police, do you watch police 10-7?

  • @VideoReply Well. I am like most members of the public, who have no idea what police do. Police are a closed shop. They close ranks and protect each other, no matter what. Police also have no idea what happens to the people they railroad either. They just want these foreigners and loer class scum off the streets. No police knows what actually happens to them in prison - like a terrified old lady trying to escape the police prowl cars. She ends up in prison in a dank cell in fetters.

  • @SugarTomAppleRoger They do their job. Why don't you have more respect for the work they do - I certainly wouldn't want to do their work and I appreciate them for it. If you had an intruder in your house who was threatening to kill you, you'd call the police immediately - when they show up and help you out - I bet you wouldn't then turn to the police and accuse them of being arrogant mother fuckers on a power-trip, would you?

  • @VideoReply Um. If there was an intruder in the house threatening to kill me... Wouldn't happen. I am not a Bank Manager. Anyway, that is not the issue we are discussing here. I grant that police do have a job to do. I just don't like the one they are doing now. I do not like their high speed chases. I guess you and I disagree on that point.

  • @VideoReply lol if there was an intruder in my home he would be dead before the cops show up in everycase that i or some i've known has needed them they have been to late or have done nothing , i have respect for their job but not the police themselves

  • @SugarTomAppleRoger "They just want... loer class scum off the streets" - sounds good to me

  • @VideoReply police ten 7 isnt what fuckin happinz mate they wont act how they normally do if theres a fuckin camera there wtf

  • @apek1apek1 you sound like you know what happens, please explain good sir

  • The police are so controlled in this incident. If it was me I would of rammed him and slamed him in jail. He could of killed someone

  • that was really cool, very interesting to hear and taste what the police go through on a normal day keep it up nzpolice, thanks commandernz

  • it is pretty cool to see how the police react and handle the situation and actually back off when it gets dangerous.

  • All cars are soon to be yellow so you won't be able to tell the difference - hmmmm! Combined Police force huh!

  • Yes this is real - I was involved. The vehicle was stolen and had been being looked for for a number of days hence the covert attempt to stop him. NZ Police don't have guns, less than 50% of the vehicles have firearms in them. Usually it's only the Sergeants, detectives and dog handlers unless others are authorised by the NCO. Can't wait for digital encryption although it's fun listening to it on YouTube!!!

  • what an idiot

who writes thier number on the back of thier car and starts a pursuit... you kidding me

  • y are sum cars yallow and sum orange ????

  • Yellow is generally Highway patrol (Issue tickets all day long)

Where as the others are general duty's.

  • ah i see thanx

i think yellow looks better but they are a pain in the arse

  • @TheCommanderNZ arent they getting fid of the orange one

  • why cant you spell the word yellow?

  • why cant u get a life BOOOMER hahaa

  • this makes the police look good to be completely honest, pulling back insted of starting a chase etc.

you ftp bundies arent tough you're all little 18 year old try hards with no balls

    and what little bitches?

  • lol i bet the driver was 18. and got more balls than you.

  • EFF TEE PEE

  • fuck the 5-0, do something more constructive with your job than give pathetic fines

Grow the fuck up you pathetic little infant!

  • F.T.P aboooosi

  • yea lol my mate vid sum of this police chase, he couldnt be bothered uploading it..

  • wha scanner is this recorded off

  • Haha FTP

  • Commander is right most cars have guns in them....

  • police have guns ! they have shot heaps of people!! Where have u been? Lol

  • I notice how the police mention that the offending vehicle may have a scanner.

Although by the sounds, this one didn't, i've heard pursuits where the offenders have in which case the police will sometimes switch to another channel or use the cellphones alot.

Definately hard for the police when the offenders are one step ahead of them.

No wonder they can't wait for digital.

  • This was quite an old video I had that ive just been to lazy to upload, happen back in April 2008.

I think someone else has uploaded the same chase as well to utube somewhere.

  • Oh dear.....

    Is this real?

Congartualtions, when they apprehend the suspect they will get shot MULTIPLE TIMES.

    Why?

Of course dummy, Police dont have guns in New Zealand.

    GOD HELPS NOBODY!

  • Wtf are you talking about you idiot. Of corse this is real, and yes the police do carry guns. (Glock Semi Auto)

  • Last time I checked they only had battons with the Special units having Bushmaster M4A1 copies.

  • Well, thats what you get for playing your stupid CS all day.

  • I dont play CS anymore!

    I look up Wikipedia!
