  • science transcend art

  • Thank you for the fascinating---and stunningly visual--primer on fractal mathmatics. This is the most sublime form of art in existence. If there is a God who has an artistic sense, this is that sense.

  • great job but i hope you took time to get permission from all the artists who created these works. many of them are very particular about people using their work.

  • DA FUCK ?FUCK MATHS

  • @turbotonic27 For the love of the cosmos, do not have children

  • Thank you for this very interesting documentation!

By the way, if you want to hear the correct pronounciation of Benoit Mandelbrot, please have a look to the following video at ca. 5:57 - 6:05 /watch?v=tc7azAONxsw

  • Didn't notice the breathing on cheap mic as I was mesmerized by your presentation. Breathing in sleeping infants has been studied for fractals and there is some evidence that initial breathing pattern may have some determination on later breathing patterns in sleeping infants. Stay with your science and math. It is a good thing.

  • I just know it

  • MATH ahhhhhhhhh!!!! @_@ still good job!

  • The most informative video about fractals, nice job.

  • Wow, this is awesome! I'd never heard of this before I saw this video! I learned a lot!

  • I love the psychedelic fractal cake-so delcious, make me hungry for cakes-and DMT.

  • Why does the 5th picture from the beginning look like the Eye of Horus?

  • I learnt that you made an awesome video.

  • i love dmt that egyption goddess

  • @IndigoRose73 as wonderful as it is that u have such a strong faith and feel it is right that YOU can go out proclaiming that god made everything u see and to some degree i can agree what is not right is that people feel like you are shoveing god down there throughts when you post things like this so if your trying to win people over to the pearly gates side avoid stuff like this all it does is push them farther away im talking from personal expeirence on both sides of the fence

  • @IndigoRose73

Get help not god, but MATHEMATICS! Thank math for this art.

  • Chuck Norris can shit 3d fractal art.

  • ok, I dont know what the fuck your on about, but i just watched it high, and OMFG!

  • interisting

  • Sounds like somebody read the wikipedia page about fractals

  • Oohhh... Aaaahhhh...

  • holy fuck looked like i could eat the thumbnail

  • No way!!!!! no way!!!!!!!! @3:27 i have seen the same colors before blue on the out side turqoise after blue then a yellow middle with red at every ending of the patern! its from the herbal spice i smoke. its same color patern every time. and now some 1 has a painting like my trip.... for example i smoke a bowl, then look at any object thats a good size like a avrage microwave in your kitchen. but there must be sun light. if its dark not going to show up.

  • Fuck you DMT fuck heads.. Fractal ass motha fuckaz!! Nom sayin??

  • Wow. Good Job. Well organized presentation, with fantastic illustrations.

    Thanks,

  • dont give a blow job to a mikrophone when u talk

  • Hey Senor Pussycat, why you turn off de musica?

  • i am so high

  • @FreeBeDrug Fuck yeah

  • this is so cool! Thanks for the explanation ;)

  • Wonderfully clear and concise explanation! Such brilliant, beautiful art! Your vid left me feeling amazed at the power of the imagination, and mathematics. Great video!

  • I dont get a fucking shit but this is cooool! O.o hope i can learn this when i grow up :D

  • Trying to watch this stoned... I'm getting NOWHERE

  • Despite any and well pointed out scientific mistakes the journey was very interesting and informative. Just check on mistakes, otherwise very entertaining.

  • Settle down Archie.

  • You can see fractual art in your mind by taking certain drugs.

  • @B360Lightning specifically acid and mushrooms together.

  • @B360Lightning salvia is nuts. dmt.... also nuts... haha, really fractaly, dmt is :)

  • CAN YOU PLEASE TELL ME WHERE DID U GET THE PIC AT 03:58 ??? Pleaseeee, i need it. it's so amazing, .....

  • Half of the pictures you've shown arent fractal art! And the math you gave there was from the Julia set, All zero values of all julia sets are represented in the Mandelbrot set.

  • bergina

  • When I look at the art you show, my breath is taken away and I feel myself falling into a quicksand-like infinte madness O...O

  • Or just eat the fungi! Aaaahaha!

  • Good work. I don't know what a complex number is but I admire anyone who does. I like your video! Thanks

  • looks like octopus heh heh heh and its funny cuz its nature heh heh heh

  • I like to watch a video, then look at the comments and read what I´m just thinking about.

  • I'm not necessarily a fan of abstract art. In fact... I find it to be very annoying. However, in this case, I'm really diggin' the fractal art. Great stuff, man.

  • W O W !!! Totally fascinating -- thanks for sharing!

  • Thanks for setting it Online ;-) Compared to other Clips its informatic ;-) Thanks for that intelligent explanation with nice speech and pictures ;-)

  • Nice presentation.

  • Thank you for your explanation. Fractals show us that there is an order and intelligence behind nature.

  • Yes Doctor, but what does it all mean?

  • Very cool video. I like the description and examples. Waiting for your next video...

  • saw this when I took magic mushrooms, except it was more detailed and moving much faster and .... you felt the experience rather than just seeing it. imagine 50 extra emotions on top of your normal emotions.. love the cosmos and what it has to offer ;) peace out guys - may you reach enlightenment also ;)

  • Actually, you should also have mentioned that calculating the mandelbrot set on its own would just give you the basic cardioids with circles attached: you also need to colour code the complex plane by the rate at which the complex number chosen will tend towards infinity under the feedback loop z(n+1)=z(n)+c, the dark bits dont go to infinity. Also the closer it gets to the edge of the mandelbrot set, the longer it takes to reach infinity, which is why you cannot just keep zooming in.

  • wow. sweet video..thanks

  • i really like this video. thanks for explaining. beautiful art. im awed.

  • Beautiful Fractal Art!

  • this made like math, the more comlex the equation the comlex and unique the fractal art... i think

    anyway kudos to this guy

  • Yes. Give me some Peyote and a Hang-glider.

  • very nice

  • @percheron1654 Great troll. I'm going to take it and just say that I made this in high school on their less than spectacular mics, and pc's worth much less than $800 that ONLY work if you're 'eating it'. I apologize, but if you came here to see fractals, and are annoyed by the audio, let me direct you to the mute button.

Sorry that I have a life and therefore no time to add subtitles.

ps: message me your live ID. Let's game it out ;P

  • @trakout thats it mate you fucken tell em the vid was that good he had to pick on the smallist hing peace fa scotland

  • @trakout lol pwned

  • @trakout Great counter-troll, and great vid!

  • @percheron1654 it really dont sound that much a problem

  • @percheron1654 It sounded like a heartbeat to me. Like in the song Third Eye, by Tool.

  • @percheron1654 Try using "transcribe Audio"

  • Nice

  • are these fractals any good? /watch?v=rDusuVBl-0Y

  • Now I Know Again

  • GREAT ART/

  • awesome!

  • Fantastic

  • Great presentation!

The fractal concept truly is amazing. :]

You mentioned the natural fractals, but I wish you said more on the profound implication this has on our whole philosophy and understanding of the universe and reality itself.

    -Peace & Love-

  • good job! :)

  • buddhabrot!

  • cool

  • what music?

  • good stuff

  • so how do i put the equation's answer into a pic? lol im very confused....

  • @hershycows, type 'wackerart fractal' (without the quotes) into google, and go to the first result for an online fractal generator, which utilizes the mendelbrot, as well as other algorithms.

  • @hershycows I can recommend Ultra Fractal.

  • nice vid
