why you say stay away from big creek? I've heard that before. I was told its for locals and it can get really rowdy. Pleae fill me in!

Maybe 15 ft tops in the ctr. Just a guess. it's been over a yr since I've been.

It's deeper than 15 feet, it's very deep where the water comes off and slowly angles up. I'd say 20 or more.

How do ya get there? Is it easily accessed by way of the campground? I just got back on July 18th and wish I was still there!!!!

It is 1.5 miles from the Big Creek Camp Ground. Take the Waterville, NC exit off of I-40 to get to that camp ground. It is a VERY easy hike on a wide trail.
