Good to see 625 is safe and in good hands. She sounds pretty well considering how long she hasn't been used for. I'll certainly be looking out for her at the Worthing rally... I'd forgotten the "whistle " sound the doors make when closing and the "fart" sound on opening. Excellent stuff.
I thoroughly enjoyed this. I thought you would have had trouble getting parts. I have restored motorbikes in the past, and I had trouble getting certain parts for motorbikes as old as this VR. Good luck with the restoration. I might try to attend the rally.
Excellent video, it has slow revs when its put into gear, I bet the Generator now charge light lights up. Is that a sign of more oil needed as I have heard when a Gardner stalls it needs a bit more oil? Don'y know how true that is. 5 stars anyway!
