Wow. It sounds so great. I've heard Indian music on guitar before but it almost never sounds good....unless it is carnatic but that seems very difficult.
People usually say guitars aren't fit for Indian music. This is probably because most guitars have frets set up to a chromatic scale. Since this guitar has no frets it can be used to render all of the shades and colors required of proper Indian music.
Thanks - the tonal quality is the combo of the guitar and the Roland VG-88 guitar processor.
I'm not sure why you think it's just "scaling" - granted, I did just go up and down the arohi and avarohi pretty much, but the composed line does follow the syntax of Khammaj.
That's awesome dude, I feel like I went back in time and heard John Lennon mingle with Jimi Paige and they wrote what you just played, awesome shit man!
Very Cool! Thank's for the description of the scale, I will be trying it. I like players like Vishwa Mohan Bhatt, who I heard of through listening to Harry Manx and Derek Trucks. You have a great style! Hope to see more,
so have you tried this on a sarod?
your tone is way kool though, so thank you ~!

sounds good, although there's a moment at 0:29 where it sounds like you're playing "Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer"
